Recently a tarped aircraft was spotted at the Gifu Japanese airbase's new electronic warfare evaluation facility. No one is really sure what it is, but people believe that it could be an F-15 or the X-2 demonstrator. Though a lot of people are saying that the dimensions are similar to that of a F-15. What do you guys think?
>>65266117HOLY SHIT TROPICAL COUNTRY PRONE TO SUDDEN WEATHER PUTS A TARP OVER A PARKED AIRPLANE CODE RED IMMINENT
>>65266117No, I don't think it's an F-15. The tailfins look to be at an angle, whereas an F-15's are vertical. I think the nose is also too short. My money's on it being an F-35. Matches up pretty well, I think
>>65266156>Japan>tropical
>>65266272aktchually some areas in the southern islands are sort of kinda a little bit tropical, and of course this airport isn't anywhere near there but I just wanted to write a post and get>post successful!yay
>>65266117Course I think its a gundam
>>65266259the nose profile looks like an F-35 so yeah
BAE is working on an airframe, but it was the tempest demonstrator, not a true GCAP demonstrator. That airframe is still supposed to fly next year. GCAP will need a new demonstrator whenever the XFP30 engines are ready to for flight testing, this could be an early mockup for that.
>>65266259>>65266368>F-35doesn't it look too big for an F-35?

>>65266272>he doesn't know about monsoon seasonhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Asian_rainy_season
>>65266117looks like x-2 shin shin
>>65266272yes? are you dumb? parts of it are tropical.
>>65266117anime girl plane.
>>65266272Anon, rice is a tropical plant. It's why there's fuck-all places in Europe or the US where it can grow. It needs a fuckton of rain and hot weather at the same time.Japan (the populated, civilised parts) is a tropical hellhole with the exception of the boonies in the north and Hokkaido, which only squarely avoided becoming part of Siberia.
>>65267268>he doesn't know about the Italian rice fields
>>65267268>it's why there's fuck-all places in Europe or the US where it can grow.its grown all over the US & EUyou do realize rice is not squarely required to be grown in paddies, right?
>>65267290I know about Italian rice fields... exactly in one place only, the Po valley. There's also this super-small patch of land in Spain. What do these places have in common? They're wet and hot hellholes compared to anything else in the Mediterranean, which is already absurdly hot "for beach resorts only" by European standards.Same in the US where they grow it in a very specific place in Cali, I think? And if they really wanted, I would expect Florida or Louisiana possibly could deliver rice crops since so many people compared them as having similarly miserable tropical weather as Japan/Taiwan/Southern China/SEA/... all the rice growing places.
>>65267268We grow mad rice in the US anon. Hell we've grown rice here before the US existed. 80% of rice consumed in the US is domestically produced.
>>65267304you didn't expect /k/ to be this invested in rice, did you?
>>65267268Best Korea produces two million tons of rice per annum, anon.
>>65266958It's far too large for that.It even looks larger than the F-2 taxing.
>>65267313American rice grown outside of Cali is shit though, all of the southern rice has arsenic/cadmium/lead in the soil and needs to be parboiled to remove it.
>>65266836>VF-1 ValkyrieA man can dream...
Rice is gay and communist anyways, a real American gets his carbs from wheat, potatoes, beans, and corn.
Guessing it's GCAP related, cockpit and nose shaping looks vaguely L/O and the wing config looks like a tailless cropped delta
>>65267268>It's why there's fuck-all places in Europe>one of biggest exports of Italy, a mediterranean climate.
>>65267268Rice originally comes from northern North America, fren.
