Is there any reason to buy one of their non-ACOG optics in current year?
>>

yeah, they're good. I don't know why you think their red dots are not worth it but their prism scopes are; theyre all expensive

Trijicon’s prism scope aren’t outclassed by their competitors the same way their dots are. Take the RCR for instance. Even on sale it usually goes for around 679 to 699. Why would you ever buy that when the Aimpoint ACRO sells for 617?

Another perfect example is the SRO vs the 507 comp. The 507Comp offers shake awake and multiple different reticle settings, has a wider window, doesn’t require you to re-zero the optic after changing the battery, and doesn’t have the issue of the slide overhang potentially causing failures that the SRO has. It is also 200 dollars cheaper than the SRO. The only thing the SRO has over the 507 is slightly better glass, and even then it’s not so much of an improvement that it justifies a 200 dollar price jump

I'm a huge fan of the accupoint. The post reticle is amazing for point shooting up to 100 yards and the tritium is great for outdoor use so that you don't have to worry about battery degradation from temperature. I think it's a must have for hunting in any kind of woodland environment.
>>
>>65267160
Solar on small electronics is such a joke. In many cases the life of the panel is only slightly longer than the battery it replaces. Except now you need an entirely new device instead of just replacing a cheap battery.
>>
>>65268134
Isn't there a replaceable battery in it, so if the solar dies it doesn't matter?

>>
>>65267454
I though you could change the battery of the SRO without altering zero. It's top loading. Also how much wider are we really talking lol the SRO has a pretty big window, especially in height. I'm pretty sure it's a perfect circle

I also heavily recommend the VCOG especially the 1-8 SCO, super durable and glass is excellent. Most fags complain about the weight or the illumination but weight is not much vs other lpvo's with mounts and those fags should lift more. If interested get a really nice second hand one, they go anywhere from 1300 to 1600.

As a trijicon and holosun owner I'm inclined to agree. I've got two RMRs, one I've had for over a decade and the other a few years less. I've had zero issues with either of them(after tape shimming the gen1) but I've also had zero issues with my holosun.
>>65268270
Fwiw I really do like the bigger window on the 507, I've only got RMRs and not the SRO but it's a really nice change, particularly on larger or heavier recoiling guns. Fits my G21 well.

This makes fellow amerilards seethe but it's undeniable overall that Trijicon got really fucking lazy on guv milbux and stopped innovating, coasting on brandname and LE SPEC OPS EL1T3 bullshit. That said

This makes you look retarded. None of those, nor anything holosun or trijicon makes, are holographic. All plain red dots are the same when it comes to that, and for the purposes of handguns it's effectively irrelevant. Any RDS is fine. Even holographic honestly makes no real difference anyway except through nods.

Honestly couldn't put it better myself. If you're a retard who can't spell for shit or type, you don't need an ACOG. Just buy the chink prism and blast trash like God intended.

If you're white buy an ACOG, you can afford it.
>>
>>65269753
How?
>>
>>65269770
It just quit working. Went to the range once, just some casual shooting, nothing crazy. Didn't even take any bumps or get smacked into anything. Next time I pick the rifle up, the dot is gone. My guess? There's some shit wrong with the electronics. Yes, I tried replacing the battery, and yes, I know how to turn it on it's not just stuck off.

It was extra embarrassing because I made a whole long post about how great the holosun was before it happened. And it is, it's better in every way compared to the RMR. The tint is better, the dot is clearer, you don't have to remove it to change the battery. That post I quoted is 100% accurate on those points. Except, it died. None of my RMRs have ever had a problem.

And so I have no use for holosun, because I'm not interested in any optic I can't trust.

Total junk. ACOG has better glass, no piss tint, and weighs half as much for the same magnification. Its only use is a variable magnification gimmick that became obsolete the second the red dot was made.

The Elcan weighs half a pound more than a TA31+RMR+QD mount. That is rather significant for an optic that does the exact same job less effectively.
>coping
Why do people who cope always whine about coping? Do you think this will work, like what is the actual endgoal there? Just pre-emptively whine about what you're doing because you're insecure?

Let me be clear: You are coping out loud because you can't afford an ACOG. No, a magnifier is not the same. It is much worse. No, a chink prism is not the same, it is much worse.

That's a Daniel Defense lower. Because that's a Daniel Defense upper. It's a Daniel Defense rifle. Did you mean LMT lower? It's not even an LMT lower, like do you even know what those look like? I do, here's one on a different rifle. The one on bottom, in case you got confused.

>BUH BUH MUH NODS BRO

He said with an ACOG with a piggybacked RMR, easily one of the most dog shit ways to passively aim.

Bro, buddy, pal, guy, friend, fraulein, my little pog champ. If you need to use NODs with your rifle, you're not using a magnified optic, you're not seriously shooting with a piggybacked pistol dot, you're using a flip to side magnifier generally speaking.

If you have money or are doing some real spooky shit, you run a PVS14 over your non dominant eye, and you have a clip on or rail attached PVS 14 on your rifle, giving you passive nightvision, as well as the ability to actually shoot under night vision. However, nobody fucking likes these setups at all, because it weighs a ton, like 16+ lbs, and now you're at risk of losing two separate tubes instead of just one.

But seeing as you're too much of a broke ass pussy to buy a can and an LAM, I'm not surprised you use Lucas Botkin as a primary source as to how to shoot under night vision.
