About a week left until the AWB. What is there left to buy before the archfoid and her jeet vizier get a few months of total hasguns rape?
What are your plans, for those of you guys staying?
Any expectations of Dhillon following through on her threat?

I've been pestering google gemini for a bunch of updates on the lawsuits ever since Dhillon said "nuh uh lil nigga" and at first things looked bright but apparently a suit to get an injunction before enactment never went anywhere and all that happened was a background check law got an injunction. It's gone from looking bright to bleak imo but I'm new to this shit so I'd like some hopium.

Is the political weight of Virginia enough that this issue could eventually get to the Supreme Court? and get all AWB shit everywhere struck down while the SC is still conservative? It sucks being in such a small blue state we really just follow whatever California does. The recent 9-0 marijuana ruling gave me brand new hopium

The theory I heard when the law was first signed was that Dhillon's civil rights wing was gonna file an injunction, then push a suit in the 4th circuit, then ram an appeal into SCOTUS immediately afterwards, but she never did and now the theories I've heard are that she's waiting for the NRA/FPC/NAGR suits to die so she can file her own suit (???) which sounds fucking stupid

U.S. Department of Justice is filing a lawsuit. All of the separate actions against state of Virginia over this are going to be partly contingent on next year's U.S. Supreme Court docket, because no matter what comes out of this/occurs from here forward it will take a minimum of five years (probably more) to resolve the Virginia illegal bans.
U.S. Supreme Court will be taking on an AWB or magazine ban case next year, there are several prime ones to select from. It doesn't have to be one of the new Virginia cases. Once the U.S. Supreme Court rules definitively next year on an AWB/magazine ban case then not only Virginia but several other states with illegal post-2022 reactionary laws will have a much ea
This is Lawfare (started-initiated by the ban states) and it doesn't resolve itself quickly or easily, there are multiple components angles and litigation/effort strategies involved in broader context.
(Also fwiw Virginia / its governor are in other hot water, besides and apart from the gungrab legislation)

None of it matters if they already have enough lower court judges in the pocket. Even if it gets struck down, they'll just ram a duplicate bill through with slightly different wording. Lower court judges will uphold and refuse to give injunctions knowing that it'll take up to decade to go up the ladder again.
Scotus has also implied that they either approve of awb feature tests or don't have the votes to strike them down (because Roberts is retarded and Barret is a woman) since they denied the second appeal in Snope.
Snope is the case that especially inflames my anus since it was gvr'd back to the 4th circuit in view of bruen, where the fourth made the exact same decision again. Scotus essentially bowed their heads to the fourth circuit by denying the second appeal.
>>
>>65271077
I've not bothered with buying mags since my family inherited like 40 metal mags and I live on the border of NC anyways and no AG would ever be able to prove anything from out of state unless I bought like a TMAG Gen 2 or PMAG Gen 4, my current priority is figuring out if I can still get a flux raider

>U.S. Supreme Court will be taking on an AWB or magazine ban case next year, there are several prime ones to select from
Big maybe there. I think both sides are stalling to hopefully have someone die or retire before proceeding on it with a new Justice that leans more heavily to one side. The conservatives don't have a clear majority, an AWB could easily be ruled constitutional by the three morons plus the moderate wild cards. There's nothing that forces the SC to either shit or get off the pot, they have the ability to sit on these AWB lawsuits for however long they want.

There's a large chance we're fucked on court balance in the near future. Old nigger is determined to die on the bench to preserve his ego, and Alito is the most likely to retire next. Roberts says he has no plans to retire, but I wouldn't be surprised if that faggot decided to retire on a D presidency just to screw us. At best we retain a slim majority, at worst we get two more Jacksons on the bench after the next election. The absolute worst timeline gives us a majority female scotus.

Who needs domestic terror? Just get the special interest groups shut down, push for impeachment and snap elections of bad officials, stop treating performative workarounds for laws that have already been struck down as legitimate, push for antitrust cases, and more. Hell if you want, you can legally harangue your representatives into explaining themselves. Do it by the letter of the law.

>>65271579
>packing the court
Yes the Democratic Party is shitting their pants about this especially since 2024, even though they've wanted to do it since 2018. It's the one indisputable good overall thing about having Trump in office over the past decade, having his SCOTUS and *also* federal judgeship nationwide appointments.

>>65271284
>maybe
It's a certainty. They've been sitting on the pot for almost three years now. And yes the precedent of other post-2022 Bruen rulings in addition to the individual states' unconstitutional actions, and the direct actions of the present DoJ (Calif + Virginia rn), do not favor the insurrectionists.
>>
>>65272044
checked, the best solutioin is to *run for office yourself* (or get / support similar like minded *pro-Second Amendment* candidates) and be inside of state and local government. You can't just 'let government do its job' or *assume* that your own state, local government is going to "take care of everything."
Second Amendment has the *equivalent importance* to the First Amendment, in our own local communities, our own counties/ states. You can't just go through life assuming that the state Legislature is going to run everything in your favor, you have to get in there and advocate for the Second Amendment yourself as a gov representative. Run for county commission. Run for mayor. Run for state legislature. Run for governor.
Globalists have bought off local and state legislatures (via Soros / Tides Foundation etc.), you need to get in there and fight them face to face, tooth and nail. Take the seats away *from them*.
>>
>>65272055
Not everyone should run for office. I'm a weirdo pervert, so I should stay out. That doesn't mean you can't contribute. Go ahead and be the melvin hall monitor. Watch them until they slip and then swoop in. Force representatives to explain themselves. It's their job. It is their job to serve you. Make them remember that. Force them to do their job or lose it. Send petitions, lots of them. Write them all the time. Make sure they always see that they are being watched, their constituents are unhappy, their constituents know why they're unhappy, and that everyone else can see it too.
>>
>>65272076
>hold them accountable
Right, concur (and that not everyone should run for office) but: You still have to get in there and fight. As stated, the establishment forces-funds in *all local and state governments* are bought off. You need to get in there and *occupy the gov seat* itself. Not 'trust them to do their job' or 'be hall monitor so they do their job' (because they're Not Going To).

Also side note on 'forcing to explain' (with regard to the Second Amendment in particular) : That does virtually *no good* in regard to any state-or-local—let alone federal (and be thankful we have the DoJ of current admin on our side)—gov official, on the specific topic of Second Amendment. They are on a *LOCKSTEP Lawfare AGENDA*, there's Zero debate or 'hearing petitions' to be had on the gun topic.
Once a (look at Virginia rn) gungrab law, or Measure, or amendment, gets rolling there *IS NO DEBATE* about it, they enact and enforce it tyranically. The anti-gun debate has only ever been about 1 thing and 1 thing only: "think of the chillldrunnnnns" Zero logic or constitutionality, let alone relevance even to public safety, is involved at all. You can't "convince" or persuade the gungrab globalists (yes, they are *always* supported by out-of-state international funding, not even by Americans or especially local citizens) of anything when they're in your local-state governments whacking you over the head with the anti-Constitutional hammer of tyranny.
You need to stand up for your own country: That means, you can't trust state-local gov to do its job, or argue / 'petition' them redress after the fact. (You) need to become the government, as Americans. Run for office. Pre-empt the unconstitutional laws, Measures, amendments in the womb: Abort them.
Run for judge if (you're an attorney and) don't want to be political officeholder.
All parts of leadership establishment across this country, at every level local-state, need 2A advocates and advocacy.
>>
>>65272096
If you squeeze them into admitting that they are either an empty suit or that the intent behind a law is unconstitutional and/or trying to workaround the court striking down a similar law, there is a slam dunk case to strike down the new law and call for a snap election to remove them. Box them in. Put them in a position where they cannot pass harmful or outright unconstitutional legislation without facing redress and losing their jobs. Cases also need to be brought against PACs and special interest groups pushing unconditional legislation. This is a little bit more nuanced. I personally do not know the law well enough to say how to execute this. This needs to be a multi front effort. We not only need candidates, we also need members of the public to exercise their God given inalienable rights and hound their representatives in government when they fuck up and to launch our own lawfare against special interests seeking to take away our rights.
