will entrenching and engineering evolve or are we figured it out already?
>>65270729Of course it will, we'll see more and more robotics/drones/remote control for that too just like everything else. It's still early days with a lot of low hanging fruit, so of course tons has been thrown into better and better direct combat drones. But even now, we're starting to see more utility drone usage like medevac. It's only a matter of time (if it hasn't happened already) before we see "engineering drones" that can take on more tasks. Being able to automatically set up trench networks and FOBs and maybe tunneling systems or who knows has clear benefits.
>>65270729It's always evolving. Or, more precisely, adapting. If anything, Drones and FLIR are provoking more advances in fortifications.
