Depends on the window dressing you want and where you want to get stationed. Signing a 3-4 year contract as a 35N with guaranteed station of Meade or Gordon/Eisenhower, Buckley SFB in Colorado, or Hawaii is a pretty good deal. Guarantees you a strategic position rather than tactical so you just show up to your NSA job every day and aren't bothered much by the army except to do PT usually twice a week, running Monday and either runs or morale PT like sports on Fridays. You roll the dice a lot more and wait longer to ship with an Air Force Contract but the upside is being able to snag an 18 year old baddie from the midwest in AIT and marry her, go to the same duty station and have kids and be set for life.

25 year old college dropout KHHV NEET looking to enlist to get out of my parents' house and unfuck my life. Unsure of what branch and what MOS/rate/AFSC/whatever to do when I'm in. Did great on the ASVAB and have no criminal or medical issues. I think I'm in good enough shape for getting through basic, although definitely not passing any kind of SOF selection.I have no specific career aspirations that I would like to do on the outside.
