The idea of demoralizing a population by bombing them has been proven wrong during ww2 and everytime something similar worked it's also because there were other major factors. The strategy of just bombing Iran and expect them to submit like that was foolish at best.The most known case would be ww2 Japan and it's wrong to imply it worked there. Firebombing most cities did nothing, the population was no demoralized because of fanatism and propaganda, the navy was gone, armies outside of the home islands were cut off then you add 2 nukes and the fact they have no allies and no natural ressources. It's way more than just a couple of bombs like the london blitz or Teheran hoping they would peace out.
