I'll try to keep these in order after conversion from their horrid file system. New 24 rocket module for their HIMARS at home:

Firing. Claimed 65km range ER shells.

Note the previous image; of course a SP gun needs a twin 30mm AGL right? Also note the nice camera work with the reflection in the water. Dad's cinematography lessons really paid off!

That's it for this. I might post some new pics of the destroyer later, there are some nice images of the 14.5mm CIWS and the deck AA guns.

Deck guns, looks like they are probably manual only. Lots of these, it seems they take small sea drones seriously.

Of course they are keeping the huge brass inscription.

And a decent ship of the CIWS.

Speech was pretty standard, key points:
>These will be modified in future production, last speech indicated the forward gun will be replaced with more missiles
>Two more per year for the foreseeable future
>New frigates on the way
>10k missile cruiser under construction as lead ship of a new class

Below the four vents on the left and:
>>65275069
Between the hats of the two central guys, Bulsae launchers. The boxes below the rear CIWS and to the left of the deck 14.5mm are probably some APS and small missile launchers, no doubt modified MANPADS. launchers.

Nork why did you abandon Caius' wiki plan last summer?
>>
>>65275004
So why are Norks and Chinks swapping to 155? Doesn't seem to really have more potential than 152
>>
>>65275103
Couldn't really talk to anyone involved mostly. I had no idea what was going on.
>>65275104
My guess is that since so many nations are 155mm now it is the 'modern' thing to do, also since everyone is coming up with advanced 155mm projectiles they can be adapted (stolen) with minimal effort. If half your R&D is based on outright theft then why not chose the one with the largest number of systems to chose from? Besides, it is a more desirable export product.

152mm is old and busted
155mm is the new hotness

Everyone hangs around the new hotness

I love how Kim always shows up in ill fitting suits but everyone is so scared of him that nobody dares to tell him.
>>
>>65275028
Are western shells compatible with this 155mm? Doesn't seem like there would be any reason to make the swap otherwise, but at the same time no western nation would sell 155 to norks
>>
>>65275104
Nobody wants to be associated with Russia any longer and 152mm is the Russian/Soviet round.

At this point it’s only a matter of time before they reveal the next model of the M2020 and rather than looking like a knock-off Armata it gets an Leopard bodykit or something.

Done on my phone as well, no clue as to the accuracy of this translation though.

With the name "Hee-gwon," the name of a battle-hardened general akin to a symbol of bravery and toughness, we summon this invincible battleship and bestow upon it absolute power and valor; thus, the seas of the Demon Kingdom, where the spirit of that one who will never sleep resides, will always be peaceful.

That's a Nork thing in general, they are extremely casual dressers and Kim doesn't seem to give a shit. Like fuck ya'll imma supreme leader and i'll wear what i want to. Half the time you can clearly see his generals don't even bother with undershirts.

>>65275627
It's standard 155mm, if it's 155mm it fits.

>>65275700
This.

>>65275709
The current one is apparently the standard, after half a dozen models they decided to stick with a recognizably T-62 based hull.

When it comes to 152mm vs 155mm there is also another DPRK specific angle; They have vast numbers of 130mm SP guns. While they are good guns they are somewhat large and heavy for their size and almost no modern ammo exists for them. Many nations (India for example) have converted both SP and towed versions to 155mm. No one has really developed such a process for 152mm since most 152mm guns are themselves rather bulky compered to the more modern 155mm guns.

It is dedicated to one of Sung's buddies, from his bio he legitimately deserves something named after him:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choe_Hyon
The other one is also one of Sungs buddies whose life was cut short by a land mine, ironically this was the one that had a little incident at the launch:

The phased array cover - I bet they can get pretty good Chinese modules. They probably have a real phased array under there.

Remember that they are heavily armed paranoid crazy people who have legitimate reasons to be be paranoid because everyone really is trying to kill them. They alter images but they never lie outright.

>Thanks USA for your phosphorus embargo
Cute and noticed.
>The phased array cover - I bet they can get pretty good Chinese modules. They probably have a real phased array under there.

Please specify which radar dish you are talking about. I was talking about the Tilt Drum over the 14.5mm CIWS.
