your dugout is hit by thermite drone. how do you survive?
shouldn't the guy on the motorcycle be leading the pack because he can actually see?
>>65277674Pretty easily, seemingly?
>>65277674Survive?
a drone hits you but doesn't explode. what do you do?
>>65277678not if there's contacts up ahead, then he'll get shot and you have to stop to recover him, he could also completely miss the mine if it's properly camoflaged.in case like this the best you can do is sit down and wait for the EOD vehicle to come in so it can detonate mines at safe distance while you keep providing cover fire.
>>65277693>EOD vehicledo Russians even have any?
GET THE WATER NIGGUHMUHFUCKIN BOOTLEG FIREWORKS
>>65277701every vehicle can do demining at least once
>>65277701Ever seen those T-90s with the anti mines addons ? not an actual EOD vehicle but it does the job on the frontline, let that thing take point, it might blow one or two mines before it need to have parts replaced.actual EOD vehicles are not meant for frontline assault, they are only light armorer, very exposed and non armed, only good when you need to clean up a road during a patrol in controlled areas to avoid IEDs or UXOs detonating on your troops and yeah russia has a few of those, Litsva, Uran-6 and BMR-3
>>65277685no? the cardboard on the floor was already burning, and you can bet your ass that those beams will catch fire too with that class D metal fire blasting them directly.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtMmymOxdjci've done fire drills before, that guy grabbing the teeny tiny bottle of water is already too late, he already needs at least a big bucket of water to deal with it, in about 15 seconds only a proper fire extinguisher is going to do the trick, if they don't have one, they're fucked.my guess is either this was recovered footage or they realized the whole situation was FUBAR and left the dugout, presumably the guy with the camera survived the drone zone/arty and made it to another position, but this dugout probably did burn down.
how far away do you need to be from thermite to not get burned?
>>65277753A couple feet. That shit can burn through steel but it's very localized.
>>65277685>this fire is so tiny, it can't harm me!>anon, apparentlysometimes I ask myself how some of you motherfuckers manage to navigate life on a day to day basis, given the kind of shit you post here
>>65277747doesn't water make thermite fires worse?
>>65277674Get out. If i can't, start digging.
BURN HAHAHAHA
>>65277771they're still alive so it can't be that bad
>>65277773i was talking about the cardboard that all of them are standing on that was already burning at the entrance, anon.they have like 30 seconds before their whole floor catches fire.
>>65277777damn, those are some digits
>>65277688Unknown technology collection increasing.
>>65277791He was attempting to know it.Bad move.
>>65277674throw dirt on it
>>65277674Seems to me that a molotov cocktail would have been better in that situation.
>>65277674I shoot you and then escape the dugout only to be embraced by the enemy as a hero for killing the great satan OP
>>65277704>GET THE WATERThats a bad idea
>>65277791Somebody should do a supercut of all the clips.
>>65277674I simply use the Larry Silverstein method and not be in the area where termite will be used.
>>65277865if it explode in the water it's not thermite but magnesium, thermite burn so hot the water would just evaporate on contact, the only thing that can stop it is shoveling dirt on it until it's burried or waiting for the thermite to stop burning
>>65277874its a steam explosion
>>65277874Dumb nigger magnesium powder + manganese dioxide is a common type of thermite. Go read a book.
It doesn't flow through the trenches like a fluid of fire, so it's far better than napalm.
>>65277846If you can only take one type of incendiary thermite is the way to go, simply because it has much more utility.Spot a tank? A molotov could fuck it up if it gets inside the tank or gets in the engine, but thermite can completely disable a tank from the outside. Or a more likely target, comms equipment generators civilian vehicles etc, a single thermite grenade will completely fuck it up. Not to mention you can literally drop it on top of a concrete bunker and it will burn straight through to the inside. Plus as anyone who's tried to start a fire after it's been raining knows, very often even gasoline won't adequately dry out your fuel enough to start a proper fire before the gas runs out, but thermite is so hot it will catch pretty much anything it touches on fire. Sure liquid fuel incendiaries have their uses, but thermite just is a more versatile option in my opinion.

>>65277777El mucho checko del fuego del muerte
>>65277747I would much rather have that dropped next to me than an explosive of similar size. That would just kill you outright, here they have plenty of opportunity to get away. >>65277771Would you rather have that dropped next to you, or a proper explosive in the same weight class?
>>65277688
>>65277871post all you got
>>65277777Nice
>>65277960i would rather jerk off in my room and not get any drones dropped on my, but then, i'm not russian.desu this does ultimately seems like a very effective way of smoking people out of their positions.if they can't fight the fire, then sure, they have a lot more time to just leave and evacuate their position, but it garuantees they can't stay there, and it garuantees they have to pop their heads out, making holding the position at all a lot more difficult.
Seeing them cower in fear and horror knowing it can blow up at any moment or slowly burn them all to death while they’re trapped in that tiny space is so horrifying. The looks on their faces is just awful
>>65277747I've seen something similar with bonfires, where you reach a certain threshold temp and then it just takes off, but it's always incredible to watch. Don't fuck with fire kids.
>>65277777Digits of psychopathy checked.
>>65277674>Reaching for the bottle of water to put it outthat zigga is going to kill them all, oh shit
>>65277777
>>65277906NTA but chemistry class would've been infinitely more interesting if it included such things in the textbook
>>65277674According to a WWII civil defense film I saw once, you keep the area around the incendiary heavily soaked with water to prevent secondary fires then spray water gently onto the device itself until it burns itself out.
>>65278841 (Me)https://archive.org/details/28082CivilianFireFightersThis one.
>>65277678Is the guy on the bike carrying a shotgun? Antidrone?
>>65277674Mmmmmmm roasted pork))))))))))))
>>65278851https://archive.org/details/xd-11084-fire-bombs-vwrThis one is good too it explains the magnesium reaction and how a gentle spray of water helps counter it better.
>>65277674Ban…kai
>>65277693>wait for the EOD vehicle to come in so it can detonate mines at safe distance while you keep providing cover fire.>wait in the killzone
>>65277777Moderate numbers
>>65277865Fuck your gay nerd science, I'm going inna water
>>65279045I can only give him a 7/10while his jump is technically strong and his executed move is challenging. he lack all form, just look at him not even trying to get into a diving position at the end. just arms flailing around like he's some sort of rag doll
