Is the future of human wars just non-stop drone warfare? I believe war is probably an inevitable function humanity. However, with the heavy usage of drones going on, it seems war has almost been "cheapened" in my opinion. Loss of life is a part of warfare but drone usage has caused it become almost abhorrent. I hate drones personally. However, I get why militaries would want to utilize and develop them. In a world where "boots on the ground" would always be needed to be victorious in a war, the drones make that a living hell in such a way that is too terrible. So what is the future of warfare? What even really shits on drones? I am sure humanity would put something together like most other inventions that came about as a result of some war thing that changed the game. Like I am sure tanks changed the game of warfare heavily but now, I am not sure how useful tanks are. What do you think? Is drone warfare the complete future of war? In a perfect world, the people declaring the War should do the fighting. However, that obviously isn't ideal because two 60-80 year old dudes having a sword fight in an arena for the stakes of whole countries sounds retarded. But then you have regular people getting dragged into some bullshit they never even had a say in.
Its about 50 years before we get viable biological sandevistans with 1000fps eyes and human surpass radar based cwis as point defense systems
Its kind of funny. I know there is no honor / dishonor in war because of the nature of it. But drone warfare feels dishonorable as all hell for some reason. Maybe my perception of drone warfare is all wrong though. Because I perceive that whole shit to be some dudes in a air conditioned room flying what is effectively RC airplanes and bombing people. Is that really how it is or not really?
>>65280173If you think it doesn't take any skill then download an FPV racing sim and see for yourself. Those Ukrainian pilots make it look way easier than it really is.
>>65280137Drones? Hah! The future is going to be autonomous robots. No need for a human on the other end to make decisions for them.
