You'd need two tubes that rotate 180 degrees when one empties, to double the capacity. Then you'd need the shortest centerfire magnum ever made, say a .45 GAP lengthened a bit to 30mm and with double the pressure. It's conceivable that each tube could hold 7 of those, for a total of 14 rounds. Looks a little short for 16. Then you just need a mechanism inspired by other automatic tube fed guns, like shotguns.

Apparently you have to reload the gun then chamber it again using separate prompts, which I thought was badass. Still need to actually play it though. Another game I liked was Peripeteia, where magazines and the individual rounds are separate inventory items
