There's a group that runs the place and they did a lot to fix up and maintain the area, and even built a mini-museum there, but I think they ran out of funding during Covid, so it never opened, and things started to deteriorate.There are a lot German bunkers in the area, along with old cannons, some shells from Gneisenau, and a German WW2 searchlight.It's really fucking sad to see it all rust out in the rain. I've been thinking of asking /k/ for a way to help find a way to fund it or just for general expertise to fix stuff, and I've been thinking of volunteering.
