No indication it'd be destroyed, probably will go to a museum. They've probably laid out all of the most interesting items in the pic.

>This year's weapons amnesty brought an extraordinary piece to the police officers from České Budějovice yesterday. A Volkssturm (people's guard) VG-45 carbine. Its value is around 1 million. There are probably only two in the Czech Republic. If you know of another interesting thing, write.

Wrong. Most of the times a valuable gun is taken out of the hiding and brought to a gun amnesty it is to make it registered and therefore legal to own, sell, inherit etc. It also legally establishes ownership over stuff your great-grandpa stole from capitulating Germans.

After amnesty you have 6 months to claim the gun or get someone with loicence to claim it for you. Only those guns that noone wants get destroyed, and AFAIK interesting ones are offered to institutions and the rest to gun traders first cause destroying them actually costs money.

That Volkssturmgewehr is keenly awaited by the owner to get out of Gun Jail.
>>

Might as well sell it to some rich collector, it's a lot of money.
>>
>>65315303
i've got two of those leuchtpistoles at the bottom, they were worth a few hundred last time I checked.
>>
>>65315303
untrue, majority of them were legalised and returned to the original owners that brought them in, the weapons that were abandoned are going to be auctioned or gifted to museums, we dont do the melting bs here unless the owner specifically requests it
