Guns and gunfagging are dead. Where and what are some COTS components that can be used to killitarize drones? Keep your funny little opinions on energetics to yourselves. Some of us already have that figured out.

Dronefags have no counter to this.
>>
>how do i make explosives?

there are plenty of guides and books online and you wont get a visit from the feds by looking them up. the feds only care about people who have moved past the research phase.

Or the drones greatest natural predator, Felis Catus.
>>
fuck off, fed. if you want to learn how to make explosives then I'm sure you have plenty of reading material on the subject. committing domestic terrorism is gay and retarded.
>>
Don't care about that.

The main difference between civilian and military drones is the transmitter power. Any device working on unrestricted frequencies is already resistant to jamming because there are so many other devices on the same frequency band that the designers have to use all the military-grade tricks to stop them from interfering with each other.
>>
>>65322393
Do commercial drones have something like a GDID? I heard all commercial drones are traceable by ownership.

Legally you have to have an operator ID and mark it on your drone if you want to fly it outdoors, but the cheap drones don't come with any built in tracking.

Drones and robots are the next evolution of civilian resistance to tyranny
If you do not evolve with the government, you will become a statistic with no power to resist.

Unless you can buy 10-20 10" drones and set them all up you are talking one time assassination stuff if you can figure that out or recon. Your average dronefag would be better off figuring out a long range drone setup with video feeds that can be used by others in a group. Lone wolf droning is not much different than other lone wolves.
>>
>>65327407
You're forgetting dropper drones. A "fence post" full of thermite would quickly take out most buildings in a scenario where the fire department isn't responding.
>>
>>65327782
Bomber drones seem better. More versatile and promise but don't ensure future use as opposed to a kamikaze. Plus the servo motors and actuation on a dropper seems simpler.
>>
>anons who can barely follow a dinner recipe saying shit like 'doo just make thermine!'

Anons always talk big, they think they're gonna be the bad ass walking into a ghetto section 8 block and slicing throats in their RWDS but cant even go up and talk to a girl.

While they are generally illegal to operate without a broadcast licence China will sell anyone a 16 watt VTX and you can get 10 watt 1.3ghz VTXs.
Everything on combat quads is off the shelf to keep costs down.
>>
>>65328842
Drones have really ruined the RC airplane hobby. The FAA and the rest keep shoving in new regulations constantly out of fears of drone terrorism.
>>
>>65328850
Most domestic terrorists are fucking stupid so they will always be much more likely to drive a truck into a crowd or shoot up a school than learn how to build a drone and make explosives.
As for regulation the one bit of good news is agricultural and industrial drones are already a large enough industry they can't ban them completely.
>>
>>65328856
Sure if you are using drones industrially you can afford whatever shenanigan they throw your way. Used to be you could take your warbird or just a light park flyer or glider to a park, and as long as you had insurance you were fine.
Now you are basically relegated to sanctioned events and private property. And that's after jumping through a bunch of hoops AND buying new transponders and such.
>>
>>65328795
you are indian
>>
>>65328874
Are you in the USA? You can still just go to a park as long as you checked the airspace and usually that's only an issue if you're near an airport.
>>
>>65329939
Yeah I fly quads all the time in public parks. As long as you're careful with altitude and don't stalk people it's fine.
>>
drones are incredibly conspicuous and easily countered or avoided in conventional domestic scenarios. they haven't been particular important in the Gaza fighting for example.

it's a different story when you're conducting a mopping-up action against a freshly disabled column of IFVs and defenseless untrained infantry on a completely open mudflat free-fire battlefield that you've mined and pre-registered for indirect fire from HIMARs or mortar batteries
>>

i've been telling people for multiple years now that the extreme prevalence of small FPV's on the ukranian frontlines is because of how slow and completely prepared/pre-sighted and fortified the frontline is, but retarded niggers won't listen.
they think that you can just stop a mechanized force that's barreling towards you at full speed when you don't have any maginot-tier defensive lines by throwing a few drone teams in their way LMAO.

drones HAVE changed the battlefield, but as always midwits are learning the wrong lessons from the ukraine war.
>>
>>65333255
>they think that you can just stop a mechanized force that's barreling towards you at full speed
Pop the lead vehicle with a drone, then the rear, then destroy at leisure. It's exactly the same procedure as the Viet Minh might have stopped a french mobile group with recoilless rifles, just easier, faster and longer ranged and you don't LOS from your position.
Anti-drone fags are actually worse than dronefags in their refusal to see that drones are an essential new weapon on the battlefield, that are going to replace some of the existing ones (ATGMs for example, are obsolete)
>>
>>65333287
Drones will phase out human based recon outside of specops situations and will be utilized by combat engineers/demolition oriented tasks as well. I think modern militaries will utilize UGVs with 50s or AGLs as well to increase platoon firepower capabilities. I do think that fpv drones are incredibly niche and only for low tech stalemates but fixed wing drones will be very useful as replacements for mortars.
>>
>>65333287
>pop the lead vehicle with a drone
you can't, on average you actually need quite a lot of FPV drones to take out a single tank.

also, everyone else can just go around it LMAO, this isn't a close range ambush, if you're having to do that, having a few drones isn't going to matter, you'd much rather want regular man-portable anti-tank weaponry at that point.
>a-anti drone fags
i'm not an anti-drone fag because i dunk on your retarded fantasies that every other conflict on the planet will magically start with the maginot-tier rigid frontlines that ukraine has, those frontlines came first, the massive adoption of drones came as a reaction to those frontlines and the fact that army sizes aren't what they used to be so both sides have to man a massive static frontline with too few people.

>are an essential new weapon on the battlefield
they are
>atgm's are obsolete
confirmation that i'm talking to a complete and utter retard lmao.

the craziest part is really the intelligence apparatus. when the histories get written this is going to make the enigma crack look like child's play.

>also, everyone else can just go around it LMAO,
And this is how you know you're talking to a simpleton or a neverserved. I deliberately left the part out where you pick your ambush site so they're bottlenecked. Someone who served or had above room temperature IQ or wasn't just a shit troll would have filled in that part themselves, ESPECIALLY with the example given of the Viet Minh.
Secondly, "just going round lol" is often a lot harder than you'd imagine with armored vehicles. I'm not going to help you troll by telling you exactly how and why, and anybody with any intelligence should be able to figure it out anyway, so you won't.
The vehemence and bad faith arguments of anti-drone fags like this makes me suspect there's some kind of influence op running to try and convince westerners they aren't effective and don't need them.
>>
>>65333287
The Javelin ATGM is not obsolete by any stretch of the word.
>>
>>65333255
You're thinking about the pawns, not the king. Politicians don't drive tanks to work and their houses aren't covered by drone jammers.
>>
Does anybody know what interface is used to link fiber optic to the circuit boards? Is it just a transceiver or something more bespoke?
>>
>>65335394
I don't know but I can make an educated guess. the way I'd do it would be to hook up an optical sensor to some form of analog-to-digital converter on both ends. the rest comes down to packet protocol; you just dump everything into the pipe in packets tagged/addressed to wherever they need to go, maybe slap on an encryption layer and whatever other bells and whistles you want. this is more or less how all linear networks are structured, just in this case the network has 2 nodes. at least 2...
