What are the wider implications of Flamingos now being equipped with French guidance systems, new European booster rockets, and manufactured at scale in the EU?

Why are Russians scared of Flamingo's when the Bongs produced three types of cruise missiles (free of US parts) and plan to give them to Ukraine? If Ukraine has multiple cruise missiles and Flamingos and drones, then TRD will keep continuing.

Ukrainian technology is not as great as they claimed, since as always they turn back to NATO tech

Ukraine only has so many people, they tap into the expertise of Europeans with 20x their current population and that's ok.

I don't have a problem with that. The whole point of this war is that Ukraine is trying to free themselves of the USSR and that is why they are deserving of our help. If they were just fighting to be a different flavour of snownig, they can fuck off.

But if I had a dollar for every time I've been called a vatnik for doubting that Ukrainian tech is suddenly better, faster, stronger and harder than NATO tech, hoo boy, believe I could afford a very good steak dinner

I don't think the guidance will increase the cost in a meaningful way. To my understanding the most expensive and logistically worst part is the engine So we might see those black rockets turned to green on the diagram, not much else will change.

At least in more recent strikes, Flamingos were launched at longer ranges at more important targets, while being far less numerous than the dronespam we've seen against oil infrastructure. Scrambling Sukhois against 9999 drones isn't worth it, but a half-dozen large cruise missiles on the other hand are

WW2 saw a lot more bombs dropped, but accuracy was such that they were not always dropped on the right city, let alone close enough to damage their target. One bomber today is more able to take out its target than a hundred were then.

How would you jam internal targeting system? I mean, they know the missile's course, they have sattelite images of the targets, they can load the "should be" image into the guidance system and use a camera and a CO2 tank with a few valves to adjust that on terminal trajectory.

You send up an interceptor drone that holds up a picture of the refinery in front of the missile but a few degrees off while flying back to stay in front of the missile, the missile gradually goes off course seeking after the image.
>>
