>>65328251nothing, kids don't have money to begin with; this is besides the fact that many kids are gifted guns too
>>65328251Prior to the 1968 GCA kids could legally buy guns. Not a lot did because most retail stores wouldn't sell to really young (or black) kids out of policy and buying via mail order catalog required access to a checking account, but I have spoken with boomers who started collecting WW2, WW1 and even Civil War era surplus in their teenage years. This was mostly with parental supervision. As nice as it is to look back on those days with rose tinted glasses it's hard to say that doing that now wouldn't have more dire consequences. We definitely have a lot more edgy kids nowadays who would shoot up a school or hold up a convenience store for bragging rights on social media. Dumb shit like that. The internet certainly didn't create the phenomenon of young people being idiots but it did turbocharge it.
>>65328325Kids can mow lawns or do online scams to get money, it’s pretty easy, in some states you can even get kids working at meat packing plants and the like
>>65328251Federally there isn't a restriction on kids owning guns. There's restrictions on kids purchasing guns. My first gun was gifted to me when I was 6.
>>65328354This. My state allows newborns to own a long gun. Gotta wait till 18 to purchase. One little tidbit I enjoy is handgun ownership and concealed carry is granted at 18 years. Federally you cannot buy one until 21 but you can snag one in a parking lot and carry it no problem.
>>65328369It’s called finder’s keepers, you’d know this if you knew english common law
>>65328251Dumb kids whose frontal lobes have not fully developed (so they don't understand consequences) would end up doing straw purchases for money, and criminals would get way more guns.

>>65328354Who the fuck in their right mind would give a six year old a gun? I work with six year olds, even the most responsible of them are still bound to do stupid shit on a fairly regular basis.
>>65328251Shitty spending on shitty products.>>65328274Yes.>>65328325They don't have much money, but they could waste it on cheap garbage.>>65329695It'd depend on a case by case basis, IMO.
>>65328251.22lr sold out everywhere.
>>65329695Momma gave me a .22 pistol when i was 7. She took me out to the backyard and told me if i could hit the shampoo bottle in the muscadine bush i could have it. Had to buy my own ammo though.
>>65335871Based as fuck. You hit the bottle, right?
>>65328251anime girls and guns don't mix well
>>65335894Shut the fuck up.
>>65329695People who live well outside city limits. Are you familiar with the concept of “this is yours son. Enjoy it but It’s not a toy. if you want to shoot it, come ask me and I’ll get it (out of my safe) and we’ll go out back and hit some bottles together (after which it goes back in the safe). If you do anything stupid, you’re gonna be pulling weeds all summer.”?No? Didn’t think so, Slick.
>>65335894They make my dick hard
>>65328251More school shooting? I mean kids, dont have stable emotion yet. They hold a grudge with someone, they shoot it.
