Like what, you found a gun in a plastic container outside? Report that, as it's probably a stashed gun for gangs. They will stash firearms around for when they need them, so they don't get caught with firearms on their property or persons if cops decide to arrest or raid them. Most have felonies on their record, and having a gun as a felon is another felony in many/most states.

This one wasn't too bright hiding it in a bright container.
