More strays on these groups but I was really pushing for speed, trying to shoot just on a streak of color returning. I slowed down on that bottom left one I think though >>65334357Thanks! The only other true micros I've shot have been a p365, p365x, and a g43x. I immediately liked the vp9cc more than the 365s and I shot the 43x really well so it's hard to knock that one too much but it's definitely more snappy. Vp9cc takes the cake for recoil impulse and trigger feel. Still got a little of the trigger bite with the vp9 but I've built up my calluses a bit more since then so roughly 300 rounds through it today and no blisters or blood509c is easier to shoot because it's a little chunkier and has really nice grip textureI brought my p30sk too because I haven't shot it in a while and it's smoother than the vp9cc but I couldn't bring myself to shoot more than 3 mags with itOverall I think the vp9cc is worth the price if you're a paddle enjoyer, if you can cope with button release I'm sure there are cheaper guns with similar recoil (hellcat pro and such?) it's also just a really good looking gun

>>65334438>not very accurate.Good enough
>>65334428Enormously less recoil on the tactical. The USP45c is very gentle for a compact .45, but the USP45T has the size and recoil system to handle .45 very softly.
>>65333798Look on the bright side. The pistols cost so much that if they don't declare bankruptcy before figuring out what heat treatment is or how to flip their back strap release upside down, or how to make a pistol feed from a magazine, they'll make their money back quickly.

>>65334698big guns shoot better, long grip is generally more comfortablethe 60% of the population that doesn't have big hands seem to really like the 43x, so cutting down on the amount of polymer thickening things by dropping the end plate and thinning the grip and magazine seems like the natural direction glock's goingI'm not saying I like it, I mean thick grip panels on a non-vertec 92 is basically my ideal grip size and shape so none of this applies to memost companies have been coasting on marketing a "compact" pistol that they made "more ergonomic" by just blowing up its proportions to that of a normal midsize gun. the future will probably be taking duty/fullsize guns and shrinking them because "you get the spectacular feel and controllability of a fullsize gun, in a smaller package!" because consumers are stupid
>>65334614>>65334709Except they aren't particularly special in any of those regards? Above average lifespan/reliability, I'll give them that.Otherwise? There isn't anything special about the fit and finish, the designs, etc. They are widely known for objectively meh triggers.I like my P30L because of the grip ergos. It's the size of a G17 with 2 rounds less in the mag. The finish is weaker than a Gen3/4 Glock.Cultists really calling themselves out itt.
>>65334714The only goofy thing about it is the slide cuts and comically oversized magwell. Both of which only pass because it's targeted mainly at competitive shooters as they are the only ones willing to pay that kind of money for a pistol that is a bit more sensitive to loading in exchange for a small performance advantage. That bore axis and fixed sight setup is sexy as FUCK.

>>65334725I shoot the USP platform of handguns better than any other handgun I'd carry for protection. They have been 100% reliable for thousands of rounds. Like others said before, it has a Euro brutal design that is timeless. I love the ergonomics of the grip, the oversized trigger guard and controls. The match trigger and LEM light triggers are amazing. Even the stock trigger can be good, or decent, but it's never a detraction where I am missing shots. Better than a Glock for sure. So if I have a handgun that's reliable, and I shoot it the best, why wouldn't it be my favorite handgun?
>>65334725I mean there is certainly something special about the designs to me. Theyre like a 1980s bmw. Simple, boxy, angular, but still somehow sleek. I can't think of another brand that nails aesthetics the way hk does
>>65334740Hey if it works for you, it works for you. USP does indeed have a timeless look. I never liked LEM triggers myself. There's nothing wrong with a handgun being your favorite because you shoot it the best.>>65334748Is this really true of any handgun after the USP though? They've been moving away from that aesthetic.

>>65334841That's the main reason I'm thinking of the vp9cc. Small, same mag release, vp9 drop safety, the optics equipped model isn't that much more expensive than the OR, and I trust the performance of 9mm HST if I ever needed it.

>>65335333>whyThe recoil spring guide rod is part of the locking system. The more force applied, the harder it is to unlock the slide. That's why you can shoot .45 Super through a bone stock USP 45.
>>65335330Spinner has to be rotated 360 degrees (generally driving the larger bottom plate over the top) That specific presentation was a mandatory 4 and 4 (i.e. one hit on each spinner plate, twice), then shooter could spin one or both spinners for a stage time bonus. In most 2-gun action matches, the RO will call "over" and you can continue with the stage. vidrel is from a much more recent match where the stage was to spin both spinners at 100 yards with rifle, then 80 yards, then 15 yards with pistol, then back out to 100 yards with rifle.>>65335326are you one of those goofballs that watches match footage from people and leaves comments like "you need to use more cover, too exposed"? >>65335397usually 2 gun action match rules don't penalize misses unless you give up the target (outside of the odd paper IPSC which uses normal USPSA A/C/D/M scoring converted to time pen/bonus)at my monthlies and usually the big regional, the penalties are: >forfeited engagement/target not neutralized: +60 sec>missed HVT/clearing shot: +60 sec, sometimes only +10so basically your penalty for missing is that the engagement takes more time and missing on the spinner fucks up both your timing and the spinner's momentum, which will fuck you up badly on certain stages par'ing out on a spinner and stacking like 4-5 "not neutralizeds"
>>65335402>>65335393> Also you're clearly a noshoots nevercomped. And you've clearly never done real.Have fun with your LARP. This is unironically worse than reddit.

Spain or a Spanish colony will win world cup. Not America, not even Canada. Beretta troon SEETHING!>>65334241What is up with this meme
>>65335439
>>65335425>And you've clearly never done real.lmfao shut up you clowni posted some match footage because it's fun, not to get divebombed by some drama queen 3051 about how imma git kilt in the streetz
>>65334602Just like em.
Guess who's back from PRISON?!?! Those Federales didn't hold me, I am reborn in JESUS CHRIST
>>65335389That doesn't make sense. If that were true then why does HK throw a fit if you don't use a specially approved low backpressure silencer? The only things that are different about a USP locking system is the guide rod can slide on the takedown pin a little which lengthens the dwell time, and it has a secondary coaxial spring which isn't engaged until the slide is about 70% of the way back. What is causing this non-Newtonian unlocking you're describing?
>>65335367That makes sense, I guess.
Why no 10mm USP?
>>65335457Burt get a life. There's more to life than guns. Get a better hobby for crying out loud. Seriously, you could take up cooking, fishing, restoring cars, etc. No one is saying give your guns up and stop shooting em, but there is more to life. Let me ask you, do you think the people here are worthy individuals to receive your advice? Because I think they're bottom of the barrel scum, and i have barrels of evidence to prove it.
>>65334693>>handgun vogue operates on a continuum of>ugh, I want to be comfortable, this gun is too big>This small gun is great! It doesn't shoot awesome, but I can look past that>Wow, these duty-size guns really shoot well, I should carry it>Carrying a duty gun's not bad, I value shooting more than comfortable concealment>ugh, I want to be comfortable...100%. Anything smaller than a compact is an absolute fucking meme.
>>65335333it just doeshttps://youtu.be/1E6IfdUJn6s
>>65335464It ain't broke so don't fix it. Handguns are stagnant tech anyway, they're essentially perfected. They can get a little better slowly, but at this point the contest has been who makes em cheapest
>>65335475Then they should focus on making them look better. Most modern guns are ugly as fuck
>>65334756>Is this really true of any handgun after the USP though? They've been moving away from that aesthetic.nta but no and it's sad.
>>65334824v cool I've never seen someone with one.
>>65335471I'm at stage 1-2 of the continuum and debating dropping my gen 1 shield 9 (neither very comfy to carry nor very nice to shoot) in favor of 1 .380. Currently going between the larger, easier to shoot ruger security 380 and the smaller easier to carry bg 2.0 carry comp. Anyone have any input other than to stop being a bitch?I want to carry a compact 9 but I know any that has a grip that I can get all my fingers on will be too big.
I know there is a sticky but I heard that Smith and Wesson quality has gone downhill, is this true? I'm interested in a revolver for ccw but also back country hiking/camping. I saw the TFBTV video about the new nightguard that is coming out and it looked nice but then I heard that qc from S&W is spotty. Should I just try and find something older? I thought there was a wheelgat general.
>>65335467It's unbelievable really
>>65335511I wouldn't pay any more than $600 for a brand new S&W revolver, because if you get a lemon, you don't have much invested in it. Stay away from any of their performance center revolvers.
>>65335493Holster makes a fuckton of difference, I had a kimber micro 9 that was less comfortable to carry than my P99, partially because longer muzzle keeps it from tipping out, and partially because a fuzzy G-code incog is just a flat-out comfortable holsterWhen in doubt, go bigger but not necessarily heavier
>>65335493I feel like any adult male can carry and shoot a Glock 19 well
>>65335526That star is precisely shaped for perfect timing
>>65335515Could it be 'Gunbelievable?'
>>65335425You're trying way too hard.
>>65335481>Most modern guns are ugly as fuckBot-tier thing to say. First of all, your subjective opinion is not a fact that can be proven. Second, it doesn't matter how they look. No one cares besides gunfag retards. This general has admitted that aesthetics are important, hence they are FAR dumber than most other gunfag retardniggers. Aesthetics don't matter, or do you plan on showing everyone your strap?
>>65335481I agree.
>>65335568>aesthetics are importantI agree anon
>>65335526A $600 Smith is worse than a <$400 Charter, and also Smith is the literal Greatest Satan
>>65335481FN makes good looking handguns, even H&K modern guns are ugly.
>>65335583>I'm a gun nut, anonNo fucking shit, only nuts and glowies here
>>65335538It was already shaped perfectly over 50 years ago.
>>65335530I have tried several over the years and currently a cheap chink kydex holster is the only one that I've found really alight. Bulk is a big issue, since I wear relatively fitted clothes and am on the smaller size. I don't think I'd buy the bg2 without shooting it first bc I really have not found myself to be too good with micro guns but this one seems to have solved a lot of the handling issues like grip length.>>65335531That's getting somewhat wide and long, but I have a very similar sized gun I played with concealing earlier and AIWB was actually not bad.
>>65335597>That's getting somewhat wide and longWhat are you, an Oompa Loompa?
>>65335542Perhaps
>people itt think they have aestheticNo karat gold plated Deagle, no aesthetics. You don't even have a silver plated revolver, and that's to speak nothing of sapphires and emeralds. Where's your platinum plated USP45? Where are your authentic bone grips? You have no aesthetics whatsoever. How many gold plated guns do you even have?
The banter isn't as funny knowing that it's just a couple of Burtsmen and chronic baiters that occupy multiple generals.>>65334946Everything you see in the photo was paid in full at the point of sale.>>65334950But I do have the optic, a 4x32 ACOG just as the Operator's Manual depicts. The mechanical sights on my pistol are also Trijicon manufactured so I am a Glock operator by extension or Gloper8or if you will. >>65335137TYFYS>>65335321Did you read that in HK Pro?
>>65335425>And you've clearly never done real. You are 16 years old at absolute most, grow up dipshit.
>>65335657Hello good fellow, seems you have good taste
>>65335657Bcm sisters.. what have we become? Spending more money on the optic than the gun? Forced to use a bare bones made in USA Glock? We got to cocky
Is the LCP max really a bad option compared to the bodyguard 2.0? I can get the lcp max for 240 and the bodyguard 2.0 for 370 after fees. I'm not sure which one I should go for
>>65335730Sneak your BCM in the thread before mods yell at the rifles. Also, how often do yall dry fire? Do you practice on multiple targets or the same poster from middle school?
>>65335738LCP MAX G2G
>>65335738It's a night and day shopting expirence. You're paying 50% more for a gun three times as good. The LCP trigger is very toilet plunger esk, and the gun flips like crazy in your hands due to not enough undercut and bad grip texture. Call around and find a range that rents both and side by side them. $240 is still a significant ammount of money compared to the average spend, so whats stopping you from dropping an extra $30-40 on a range day to see if you believe the BG 2.0 is worth it.I honestly love this fucker like you wouldn't believe.
>>65335728Didn't know you were a Gloper8or too, COG bro! Always a pleasure>>65335740NTA but remember to use thread locker on your guide rod, pardner. I've read that Gen6 reverted for this reason (vid rel)
>>65335740>>65335749Cute holster
>>65335749did you have any issue with the sights? I've heard that the sights are misaligned straight from the factory
>>65335761Thanks dog, the QVO draw claw is amazing. My shot timer just came in the mail so I'm going to do some draw drills and see how my splits compare to the FN 509c side by side.>>65335762Mine were fine, I think the leftward lean to my groups is just due to it being a tiny gun. I did pick up some nicer irons for it though since the stock sights have a lot of gap between the rear and front irons making the sight picture difficult to perfect at longer ranges where it matters more. Haven't installed them yet though. My BG 2.0 did need to get sent back to smith for a light strike issue that was worse with some ammo brands but that was a quick easy process and they even polished the feed ramp as a bonus. Seems like I have heard less issues as it goes, not sure if smith fixed a manufacturering issue or the employees just got better.
>>65335772What shot timer did you get? I've been meaning to pick one up so I have actual numbers to gauge my progress
>>65335779NTA but Shooter Global Go is great. It has an app to store statistics and more features, super easy to program drill or adjust settings through the app instead of playing with the two buttons on the timer.
>>65335779I got the SG Timer GO with pocket clip, it came reccomended from an anon here and when I researched it further the reviews online backed up that it was a great product. I hear good things about the kestrel but it's also exactly double the price. If you're in the market for one and have $310 to burn that's the one Ben Stoeger and most other instructors seem to prefer for their classes. Otherwise I'll post a write up this weekend when I shoot with it.
>>65335786Damn I bet this is the guy who reccomended the SG Go to me lmao. Anything I should do with it before I take it out to the range with me?
>>65335797No. It’s sensitive to pick up dry fire so you can practice draws at home with it. Just position the mic close to the gun when you dry fire.
>>65335805Sensitive enough* It also can work for indoor shooting ranges by lowering the sensitivity to 25-30%
>>65335657>paid in full>on a card>at 24APR
>>65335823
>>65335833nta but YWNBAW Pantybin
>>65335444meme? .45 is a stone cold killer, anon
>>65335837>YWNBAWThat's the only correct thing in your post, I am a man and never claimed otherwise.
>>65335888Hi Jeff
>>65335888Why does that say 2013?Why is it so dirty? You don't carry that shit in your wallet do you?
>>65335467I wouldn't normally reply to this, but it's delightfully coincidental that I was JUST musing to myself not 20 minutes ago how fantastic this hobby is. Wondering if other hobbyists enjoy their hobbies as much as I do. Do people really have "love" collecting coins or quilting? They might get a thrill out of climbing, but they're not doing it every day. Other hobbies might be fun, but this one is bliss. I fucking love guns so much it's unreal. I don't WANT another hobbyAlso I like this scum>>65335738>>65335749This is accurate, minus hyperbole. The Max is a good gun, cheapness is a virtue because of the risks we put our carry firearms through. But where the Max feels like a plastic tool, the BG2 feels like a real piece>>65335762This should never be a concern for you with any gun imo. Don't expect sights to be zeroed, because hardly any company does it. Expect to correct sights to YOUR posture and YOUR eyeballs every time, and you will simply be all the more pleased when you don't have to :)In all my years I've only ever considered two to be "off" from the factory, pic related that had a wiggly loose barrel and the Hudson H9 because they frigged up ordering sights from a supplier or something and said frig it ship them out and tell them a 12:00 hold is normal and covering up your target good. Everything else has been easily on paper, which is all they (or most buyers) care about, and almost all have been correctable to a crisp personal zero
>>65334597Conceptually cool, but his execution is way off. He needs to make a seamless transition from frame to comp to maintain the aesthetics.
so are we back to hkfagging? is berettafagging dead?
What other pistols have that cool front scallop cut? The hi power and the og short rail cz75 come to mind.
>>65335945I haven’t bought the 94X yet so basically.
>>65335738theyre both shit, get a glock 42
>>65335945No germs or wops for me thanks.
>>65334563>>65334703I kept my promise, you catamite.
>>65335969Based to actually post against my shitpost
>>65335947I absolutely despise that look so I notice it in other pistols. The firestar m40/m43 series has it, the modern M&P 5" barrel models have it, the Ruger p89 has it, the walther p88 has it, and tanfoglio has a wealth of them in various surplus models. I hate it. I hate you for liking it. I hope you enjoy whichever you choose but why you enjoy it is beyond me. It's disgusting and an aethetic blight.
>>65335903What sight pusher would you reccomend Burt?
>>65335945Not once I get one of those too.
>>65335999The deeper the better I say.
>>65335969v cool.
>>65336003What gun is it for? I got one for glock recently but I haven't used it on other pistols.
>>65336003I've been shilling those ones for years. Long enough that the original manufacturer no longer makes them and you can only find chinese copies. If you search 'sight pusher' and sort by price you can find lots of vendors selling this design. This one's $18 for example not that you should buy from this """person,""" God it's crazy how cheap they are nowhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/397421834078Anyway, a lot of cheap designs are extruded aluminum, they'll bend or strip if you gronk too hard. These kind are very solid but it takes more care and prep than the MGW dovetail style. Protect your finish with tape or cut up plastic
>>65335947Staccatos have it. It makes holstering easier
>>65335275None>if you HAD toUgh fine the AA2000 is actually extremely underrated, it gets a ton of completely undeserved hate, and they're still pretty cheap. Pretty much everything else either has detrimental idiosyncrasies or is outright crap
Oh hell with it I've been shilling these for too long without actually knowing if the chink copies are any good so I'll put my money where my mouth is
Any non-hamplanets here? (Sorry burt) How do you carry when you’re jogging? I’ve been using a G26 on a belt under my shorts and it sucks. I’m thinking of carrying my j frame in a hill people gear snubby fannypack.
