>we make the Pentagon the coolest military HQ ever>Frenchies see this>make a new military HQ>call it the HexagonReally? Who writes this shit?
Nobody tell him about the Octagon.
>>65337627>the coolest military HQ everno, thats the new egyptian military HQ
Have we finally entered the age of futuristic military complexes?
>>65337750looks like a command and conquer 3 map
>>65337761>looks like a command and conquer 3 mapmore like command and conquer Israel
>>65337750This genuinely looks like one of the maps from C&C 3. I half expect to see a squad of Predator tanks fighting Nod Bikers.
>>65337750If you put this in a Gi Joe movie, the audience would call it ridiculous
>>65337750are those underground missile silos? kek
>>65337775No. They all are self sustaining forts in case of coup.
>>65337750>not a pyramidOne fucking jerb.
>>65337750you could have a great ace combat mission over this
>>65337750>>65337789how many of these buildings are empty?
>>65337782So, how do they decide which fort takes over? Are the forts equipped with artillery and missiles to sort it out?
>>65337789lol those are egyptian theban columns though. Its more of a temple which makes sense desuGod I wish egypt wasnt muslim/christian or any arabic kike religion but egyptian
>>65337782they moved these government buildings away from cairo into the desert to specifically avoid any coup or demonstrations affecting them
>>65337627France's symbol is the hexagon, it's even on their euro coin
>>65337721>>65337750EHAT THE FUCKWhy arent we suing these fagsDo they have no shame? How far is this shape madness gonna go?
Okay, what's next and who will build it?...wait a minute, that middle one......
>>65337627The Frenchies say their country is that shape so idk it makes sense
>>65337789>>65337833>these niggaz don't know about the great slag Zuggurat of Bahkmut
>>65337627I am disappointed that the French HQ isn't a giant croissant
>>65337750What do they eat?
>>65337931each other.
>>65337833This would be the biggest dickswing possibleJust build a ginormous star of David thata gonna permanently scar the land so no matter what Israel can say>oh this is your land?>Where's your giant crescent moon?Cmon Bibi I know your the ambitious type and this is right up your alley. Build a giant star of David military HQ
>>65337750>is 99% empty
Somewhat related, I guess, there used to a Marine Nationale aesthetics video, think it was titled 'La Royale' or something similar, had a chef swapping off his hat to a helmet and manning an AA gun, real upbeat song. Anyone know where that got off to? I can't seem to find it anymore.
>>65338080Is there a "La Royale with Cheese" version?
>>65337750Fucking useless if most of that shit isnt 100 meters below ground. If will get bombed to shit on day 1
>>65338177>If will get bombed to shit on day 1I kind of doubt it, you're not really fucking up more than one small segment at a time and reinforced concrete will take a pounding if you build for resilience rather than cost savings. The chief's office will get hit and the building levelled, maybe his bunker breached too. Most of the rest will probably be ok, it would take too many flight hours to schlep all the ordinance required to the AO.
>>65337627Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and the most obvious form of envy.
>>65338177Does Egypt matter enough to bomb?
>>65338319Only to militant islamists.
>>65337750The base itself is cool as getup, but we all know the Egyptians would never be able to make the most of it.
>>65338382Which means that most of the octogon is decoy buildings filled with crash test dummies. Not a bad idea
>>65338177it's meant to defend against internal unrest
>>65337833>>65337759>The foolish Westerners will never figure out where we train our nuclear scientists!
>>65338514And here we teach classes about...Umm...Fish?
>>65338517How would that work as a lecture hall? Everyone there has to shout and just hope everyone else can here them. It only works as a sad chat group stuck in the same room on some LAN connection.
>>65338528I think it is just a study hall/internet access point, the main parts of the building are open to the public and you can reserve computer time. Most of it is just museum stuff, library rooms and natural history displays. The actual class rooms look like this and i think they are mostly in the high rise building, they always have low ceilings unlike the main complex:
>>65338547>>65338528Half of it is big rooms full of books and e-library terminals and of course dinosaurs:
>>65338559Oops; wrong image:
Why are they all these office like complexes. And not just underground complexes or Skyscrapers.
If we have the PentagonWho shall be the Pentagram?
>>65338563More military bases need dinosaurs, this is what that drunkard hegseth should be doing instead making steroid injections mandatory for people over 30.
>>65337805it turns a boring coup into a red alert style free for all match with up to 8 players
>>65337802They say they needed al teh office space so tehy could have all teh bureacracy in onen plalce.Presumably the old office buildings are now empty, but who knows.
>>65337627God the fucking Europeans haven’t made anything noteworthy in architecture since the 19th century. It’s pathetic.
>>65337802>>65338717It's a military dictatorship. Much of this facility and its staff will probably be handling civilian affairs.
>>65338771Their military has to run shit like nation wide bakeries and cooking oil manufacturing/distribution/import networks and all sorts of other nonsense. They are not only heavily involved in almost every aspect of the economy they need the space in case the parts of the government they don't run need to be relocated in case of an uprising.
>>65338782>cooking oil manufacturingbetter this than gutter oil
>>65338796The Arab Spring was set off by a regional spike in state subsidized bread prices due to a bad harvest in Russia, far less than what is expected to happen this year. That grain came from the Black Sea and Russia's canal network, i suspect there will not be much cargo coming from there this year.
>>65338820What an unfortunnate turn of events for BRICS and the global south. If only the Emperor, Czar, Chairman, etc. knew.
>>65337806Saddam almost succeeded in bringing back neo-babylonian style to Iraq and populating the entire fucking middle east with beautiful, beeaaautiful larp archiecture. It's such a massive shame he was incredibly retarded and his family members were all psycho gigarapists who made it impossible for his rule to last even without the US and Israel involved.
>>65337833Here have some crosses(That's a prison but who cares)
>>65338865Pretty sure Putin knows why Assad is living in Moscow at this point.Neat factoid: Apparently they actually put him to work. He is a decent optometrist, him and his wife started a non profit and supposedly do volunteer hospital work. Imagine being in the emergency room and Assad just walks in and tells you he is your doctor today.
>>65339804>He is a decent optometrist,Well of course, he was trained in the UK.
>>65337627It's probably le hexagon just saiyan
>>65339830It is an interesting moral dilemma: He is more or less harmless now and is actively helping innocent people, supposedly kids no less. So even if he deserves death or imprisonment would it be ethical?
>>65337627They should have made a Pentagram. That I could respect.
>>65339840No reason why imprisoned doctors can't do work inside a prison/juvie facility (provided they are not there because of diddling charges, etc.)
>>65339862That is my thought as well. I firmly believe in rehabilitative justice and am strongly opposed to the death penalty, that is probably the best use of a highly trained professional prisoner you can come up with. Even if it was someone so horrible you can't let them near patients (Mengele for instance) theycould still do remote diagnosis and lab work.
>>65339804>He is a decent optometristHe wannted to be a doctor, he only returned to Syria after his older brother was killed IIRC
>>65339908Correct, he never wanted to be in charge. As a highly trained professional he is an above average person in terms of intelligence and motivation however he never got that all important future dictator training and experience he really needed. It explains the duration and brutality of the Syrian Civil war; very few things do more damage than a motivated, stubborn new guy who is doing something he isn't trained to do. It is why no rational person thinks 'here is what i would do if i were king' because they have no idea what to do; they weren't raised as a future Monarch and have no qualifications to even speculate on the matter.
>>65338563look at those bone BAWLS
>>65339840Yes. There's no statute of limitations on murder in any legal system anywhere, and he is responsible for thousands. It's not simply ethical and legal but a moral and ethical imperative that he be punished for his crimes and more importantly SEEN to be punished.
>>65340077The issue i have is that every government in the history of mankind has abused its power to knowingly kill innocent people therefor no government should have that power, no exceptions. A perfect example is Idi Amin. Obvious case where we should have executed him right? Wrong, he was completely innocent. He had a severe form of syphilis that causes progressive brain damage, the symptoms correlated perfectly with his becoming more erratic as a leader. Western intelligence agencies knew this, they bribed his doctors to hide it from him to destabilize his nation. So if he had been executed not only would a innocent man (due to brain damage) have been killed it would have been covering up a major crime against humanity by western nations since they are responsible for everyone he killed via preventing him from getting treatment. When he went into exile the Saudis had their own doctors examine him and figured it out but by then the damage to both his brain and his people was done. They basically locked him into a palace that was a managed care facility then told the ICC and the western powers that if they wanted to put him on trial they would reveal everything. They agreed not to put him on trial (and no doubt offered some major bribes and concessions) and everyone forgot the matter. An extreme example but it makes my point; unless it is needed to prevent loss of life then the death penalty even in the form of assassination is ethically wrong under any circumstances. Since Assad is not an eminent threat his death is not justified. Imprisonment and lifelong servitude? Yes but not death. No government can be trusted with that power over someone who isn't an active threat and there can be no exceptions to that or the prohibition is meaningless.
>>65340114Counterpoint: a tombstone is a sign board that west can tap whenever the kids at the back of the bus start making too much noise A deterrent that is outside their control wouldn't hurt to be able to show the next guy that gets a bit itchy about a few protests.
>>65337627My friend lives nearby so we pass by this everyday when i visit himIt's close to defense industries' HQ as well
>>65337627It's like the Pentagon but one better
>>65339960>>65339804>>65339840Hes been ruling for 20+ years. How the hell could he just pick up the practice back up. Its not like you can just graduate medical school and 20 years later walk into a clinic landing a job
>>65339340I used to live nearby! I miss St Pete's.
>>65339960I actually majored in Syrian politics and this whole bashar was an innocent is bullshit. He gave up liberalism in the early 00s. The entire Syrian civil war started because his cousin tortured children for graffiti in Daara, then threatened to rape the wife of the tribal leaders when they asked him to let them go, because they thought the torture was enough of a lessons. Then he was retarded enough to have conscripts fire on protestors which fucking backfired because they all defected, he then released the jihadists from prison to give momentum to rebels who everyone would oppose.Bashar is a cunt and a literal ex jihadists is doing a better job
>>65342024>>65341599>>65341200All of you are missing the point that i am trying to make as well as failing your introductory Class in Human Ethics 101.
>>65340114This is retarded.
