The bullpup variant, which you can switch the standard variant into after replacing 3 modules
>>
Comes down to the price. Seems like they intend to make it cheaper than the Bren, so it might have a place in the market.
>>

Not OP here but... we don't care about your market. We just did it because we've been begged to do it for too long.
The price will be around $2000 same as here
>>
>>65341257
Even if it's a hunk of shit, I'd still be interested if just for the novelty alone.
>>
>>65341384
it's a good rifle and something original, not a SCAR from Temu like the cz bren
>>
>>65341296
Who's we? Quite frankly, you're smoking crack if you think any arms manufacturer capable of decent volume wouldn't jump at the chance to get into the US consumer market.
>>
I wonder if the export version will have any teething issues lol. Apparently the version they have contracted with Arms of America isn't the A3, it doesn't even look like the A2, it looks like the fukken A1 but slightly adapted

It's a state company with orders going into the dozens and hundreds of thousands right now, it's neither worrying about the money nor about the US market

>we don't care about your market
I'm detecting a whiff of generalized seethe in the distance, captain...
>>
>>65341388
To be clear, I want it to be good. My collection is pretty rounded out as far as capability goes. I've got my bases all covered, so now it's either building interesting (provenance, action type, scarcity, etc.) firearms or occasionally picking up something unique from a country that we don't get many firearms from (ie Poland).
>>
>>65341419
Were you also calling your classmates butthurt for not inviting you to a party?
>>

the most interesting thing about the Grot is how you can turn it into a bullpup by swapping out 3 modules
heres part of a bragging/advertising post that i saved and am now quoting
>Even the bullpup alone is the single best bullpup ever produced: best balance, best trigger, best recoil, best ergos, very accurate
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsSgEQpCy00&t=1566s
>Last few minutes of the vid show the conversion process. You swap 3 modules for 3. Designed so that you can buy the modules themselves without a specific license/promise, off the shelf, OTC. So for just a few hundred additional bucks you basically get 2 rifles in 1

>it's neither worrying about the money nor about the US market
>goes through the abject asspain that is getting ATF import approval (yes even for pistols)
Anon, I think you don't know what you're talking about.
>>
>>65341440
That's probably the most interesting part. It would be my first extruded aluminum box gun and also a first bullpup barring me printing a NylAug or buying a real AUG. Also, the FB Radom roll mark on a design (or a design tweaked from or adjacent to a design) that has military contracts is hard to pass up.
>>
>>65341430
>psh! We don't care about your market.
>[quickly releases the product to that market]
What did he mean by this?
>>
>>65341455
>quickly
it was supposed to be released in 2023 already. i stopped giving any fucks (so clearly they gave even fewer)
>>
>>65341441
>goes through the abject asspain that is getting ATF import approval
to export to America you have to get ATF approval. it seems you don't know what you're talking about if you're making a big deal out of this. i have wondered about what took them so long tho
>>
>>65341494
>to export to America you have to get ATF approval.
That's quite literally what I said. You quoted it, even! Great job! Glad we're on the same page now.
>>
>>65341557
so not sure how that proves it's (A) worrying about the money (B) or about the US market
>>
basically, it was always an afterthought, and they've finally gotten around to it. praise God!
>>
>>65341261
Looks like the assault rifle from deus ex
>>
>>65341410
so its just the A1? have they improved the plastic on this one at least?
>>
>>65341494
>market so notoriously difficult to access that many manufacturers find it easier to just set up a factory here than deal with importing
>i-its just an afterthought, we dont really care! stop making such a big deal!
all of this cope and damage control because somebody said it would have a better chance if it was cheaper than an established competitor. why are you like this?
>>
>>65341799
that's the point... they couldn't be assed to set up a factory in America
>>
>>65341410
looks pretty nifty
>>
>>65341494
>i have wondered about what took them so long tho
They had to find someone willing to either make the things in the US or to do some bullshit manufacturing ordeal that would have made the ATF say "OK, you can sell your foreign made gun in the US"
>>
>>65342082
they had already made a deal with Arms of America in 2023 thoughbeit, it was moderately big news for the unemployed
>>
>>65341257
What's the price?
