Semi-new gun owner here, what the hell are you supposed to do when you're carrying while riding a dirt bike?For context, I went out riding in the middle of the desert with a OWB mounted M&P .40, and encountered a stray dog practically running out of the bushes charging towards me, had to gas it in order to avoid getting bit. No energy in the system to fire, and nearly impossible to accidentally charge and fire just from bumping around, but still very fast and reliable to draw, click off, and fire one handed if needed.

The CZ100 had a metal potrusion forward of the rear sight that would allow a cop to chamber a round by holding it on to a solid edge and pushing forward. You can do the same thing with most standard rear sights or even a solidly built and installed red dot.

When I stopped, I realized my holster snap had opened somehow, and my pistol was halfway out of the holster.

If you're worried about shooting yourself while riding you need to practice drawing (you should be doing that anyway if it's that much of a concern) with snapcaps to train it out of you. Get something with a manual safety that you can easily flick with a finger. I miss when you could get a reliable K-frame sized 38 special revolver easily. Now S&W only makes J-frame impossible to shoot past 5 yards under stress lightweight Hillary-Hole bullshit (their current catalog of K-frames are overpriced poor QC garbage). See if you can find a police trade in S&W Model 64 (which is a stainless steel Model 10, I miss you S&W Model 10 autist pasta), aimsurplus.com still has some just need new grips. 38 Special has been putting people in the ground since 1898. If you need 357 or 10mm (or bigger) you're riding in bear or moose country. If you need more than 6 shots you should have practiced shooting more or start riding with an AR pistol/Draco because you're riding into feral dog/hog/methhead/nigger territory.

I crashed my motorcycle and landed right on top of my gun. Always had a round chambered. It didn't go off. Get a proper holster and gun you'd have to be a retard to shoot yourself carrying a loaded gun.
