Are you gonna spend thousands of dollars to buy head mounted Night Vision Goggles?
already did
>>65372593was it worth it? or are they just dust collectors
>>65372596>was it worth it?wait till the riots start and the power goes then try to buy them.
>>65372596if you can afford to drop 2-3k on a non-essential purchase then yes they are worth it. its one of the few superpowers you can buy.
>>65373713what can you get for 2-3k? i thought actual usable ones cost 15k
>>65373721Green phosphor tubes are still available.
>>65373737dual or single tube?hand, head or gun mounted?
>>65373746wetworx has pvs14s for 2500

What would be the absolute floor you’d pay for quality night vision? Lots of stuff on eBay at the moment but majority of it is from China
>>65373787i found something called jerry-31chinese nvg, but still 3k buckaroosi think maybe 2k id buy?
>>65373787Lindu has chinese analog nv for $1.4k a pop
>>65373721>>65373787Single PVS-14 from a US vendor that is capable of properly evaluating the tubes. Not worth risking $1500 on ebay for something that might work and definitely won't have any warranty or support.
>>65373822is a single tube good enough tho
>>65373822Ebay has excellent buyer protections. If it's not exactly as advertised file an INAD return and make the fucker refund you AND pay return shipping.
>>65373746Surplus green phos pvs14 can go for $1200 to 1500 on ebay.
>>65373713name 10 buyable superpowers
im gonna stick with a handheld flashlight for 20 bucks guys
>>65373836Yes
>>65373836Single tube is fine. If you find yourself using NVGs on a semi-regular basis (i.e. hog hunting, etc) then upgrade to duals. I got my WP pvs-14 for about 2200
>>65373836Photonic barriers fuck up duals too which is why thermal is so much more powerful but you can't drive or walk with thermal so you need both. Don't sweat the details on your tubes. Buy omni, buy carson glass, reputable dealers. The price honestly hasn't changed much over the years so considering inflation there has never been a cheaper time to buy nods. Which is convenient because even shitty cheap thermals are pretty impressive. The battlefield done changed, son.
>>65373693Really? And how are you going to supply the batteries for these NVGs when the power goes and the batteries are no longer purchasable?
