Does the military ever "gamify" training? An example of what I mean is instead of doing purely rehearsed battle drills or attempting to run convoluted wargames where the objectives are attempting to mirror an actual conflict. Instead it's in the context of like platoon vs. platoon capture the flag? You're still doing all of the tactics, techniques and procedures that you are expected to do. Performing battle drills realistically, conducting patrol operations like how you would in an actual conflict, but it's all in the context of capture the flag or some shit for like bragging rights between the platoons.
