Do (you) like Palmetto State Armory?
>>
No
>>
>>65380169
I got some cheap things resold by them on clearance sale, overall good experience.
I hear their original products are pretty good material and machine work and cheap & shoddy methhead assembly at a low price.
Might be that the owner is sincere when he says his goal is to get the poors so widely armed that no force on earth could realistically disarm America.
If so, pretty based and he's doing good work even if they never make a single thing up to (you)r standards.
>>
>>65380169
They're aight. I greatly enjoy what they have done for accessibility of guns and they have a few neat clones.
You dont have to buy them.
>>
>>65380169
yes
cheap guns for the masses
but they are not necessarily great guns you need to shoot them quite a bit and make them earn your trust before you can depend on them

Sometimes they do ok sales. Their shipping policies are wildly inconsistent though. If you're ordering something like an upper and live in a ban state, there's like a 50/50 chance they won't send it to you even if it's completely legal.

overhyped sweatshop junk
arming the "masses" is also a huge mistake, guns should be expensive
>>
>>65380232
>guns should be expensive
Hard disagree, every single ghetto nignog should have a half dozen cheap guns so they can thin out their own numbers and you can regularly get firearms resold extra cheap at police auctions.
>>
>>65380169
They used to be much better, but they got high off their own supply and price their shit like any big box store. They also sell subquality own brand versions of decent stuff, manufacturer QC rejects, and refurbed shit. Their ammo is garbage from everything I've seen and not even close to the price point to justify being that bad.
>>
>>65380169
Haven't bought from them in awhile but yeah. My experience is limited to AR-15 and the PA-10 Gen 3. Decent parts, bad assembly. If you read up on how to put these guns together, and you get yourself a good armors wrench and vise block and you threadlock/retorque everything yourself, then they're excellent. If you're running one out of the box it's a gamble.

I do love me some cheap 77 grain hollow point though
>>
>>65380169
No. These miserable cucks won't even send an optic to a ban state. For all their "Arms for the masses" bullshit they're honestly just massive pussies.

i used to but my opinion of them has decreased over the years. ive spent multiple thousands but various shipping fuckups and dealing with their warranty has made me say fuck em never again.
its easy to write off 1 fuckup but theyve consistently fucked up something. to the point where even if psa is cheaper id pay more for the same products to not deal with them.
>>
>>65380259
>They used to be much better
when was this? cause most of the stuff youve listed they were doing before they became large. its been doing shit like selling cheaper worse "different" brand or blems for at least a decade.
>>
>>65380169
Yes PSA is great. The only people that hate on then aren't even people, they're jews or their familiars.

They had a nice entry for thermals for like $599 a few months ago. infitac fmp13 with rechargeable battery kit. I check them for deals every now and then. Waiting for a deal on a 20inch fixed carry handle upper at moment
>>
I've gotten plenty of AR components from them over the last decade and a half and I enjoy the hell out of my 5.56 AKs. I also support their mission to make the AR-15 so prolific among the general public that it's impossible to ban. Overall I'd say they're a definite net gain for guns in America. Insecure fags can get over themselves.

i have 2 ARs i built from PSA parts, one an entire build kit and another where its just the upper
one that was basically all PSA has the worst trigger, worst feeling controls(small parts wobble a bit, slightly sharp on corners, etc.), and just overall is my worst AR
other one that is just the upper doesnt have quite as many of those problems because it has a better trigger and controls, upper is fine
it isnt particularly great but both are more accurate than i am at 100 yards, haven't had any issues with 1,000-2,000 rounds on each of them spare maybe a couple rounds failing to feed or the bolt not holding open but it could be the cheap ammo or the mags as well
i have a friend with a PSA AR and everything is just crazy tight on it and he has to keep it soaking wet with lube for it to run reliably but his is also about 3-4 years older than mine are
overall they are fine but they arent anything special, you can do better for just a few hundred more but its more ARs to more people and they all seemingly run fine
>>
Never bought a single product from PSA proper but I did build an H&R 601 clone. First lower was out of spec around the magazine release button and the extension tang and had to be RMA'd, they didn't make a stink about it. At this point their 604 uppers had been out of stock for 6-8 months so they told me they'd pick me out a good color matched upper to match the lower they'd be sending me. Both arrived perfectly fine with no issues.

Also I bought a 1:12 pencil barrel from them and the gas block was clocked wrong, they repaired that for free and it was a 24 hour turnaround. They also replaced the barrel nut that I shredded for free, pretty nice of them.

On the whole yes.

PSA has done a lot for lowering the price for an acceptable AR, raised the bar for what a poverty tier AR is and done wonders for fucking up gun control efforts all around. They made money hand over fist doing it and spent at least some of that bringing products to market like the retro H&R line, PSAK and JAKL which they have committed to a lot better than Brownells did to their retro ARs and BRN-180. All of this while dealing with bottom of the barrel retarded customers and still providing decent CS. I respect that immensely because I have done that job and it's not easy. If you sell cheap guns you'll deal with the dumbest pond scum that you would never believe can exist without spontaneously forgetting how to breathe.

If they actually cared about fucking over gun control they'd make a seperate page for their rifles that included the word heavy in the barrel profile description for Maryland because that's the lowest fucking bar you need to jump as far as ban states go but I guess they can't be bothered. They will sell you a lower though which means you have to go through the state police's bullshit waiting period.

I bet the cops don't want to risk themselves "enforcing" these dogshit laws either.

The only faggots who say no either didnt make use of proper warranty and got a lemon kit. Or are faggots who think theyre above the brand.
Palmettos only goal is to arm people with reasonably reliable weapons for a fair price.
Cry harder niggers. Ive won 6 competitions with my blem upper m4gery with canted(installed incorrectly) gasblock and the only upgrade was an aero precision bolt.
>>
>>65381827

This, this guy gets the proper flow. Guns for all, and the rest will filter itself out. Position yourself downriver and you can obtain good gats at good price points.
>>

Idk how I can really explain more anon; you're just going to have to watch a stream on his channel about gun news. There's like three whole references that really aren't super deep. I'll have to watch some streams and see which this came from. Also no I don't know how big toe money even became a thing.
>>
>>65380284
>i used to but my opinion of them has decreased over the years.
yea the fact that they wont send rifles to NJ because of the laws even though they could legally since they send them to FFLs only who then are responsible for making it compliant

Sometimes they're anti free speech. Sometimes they're like a secret government program to arm the civilian population with at cost equipment.

I swear I saw them selling PEQ 15s for like 1,000$ and they were instantly sold out.

Their ar-15s are awesome for 500$
Everything else earned the term shit "turk shit tier quality"

I recently bought an AR-45 apc lower from them for 50$ and the BCG for 30$
>>
>>65381285

You need to gauge the parts to tell if it was any good. Low quality parts will last about 5k rounds, high QA parts will last past 100,000 shots

but man you must have ARs laying around to take an AK over an AR

Good quality parts, ??? QC (albeit better than "regular" PSA). If you're looking at an A1 clone, I'll warn you that their grey anodization is far too light right now for some reason, as in borderline white instead of grey, even on non-blems. If you just want a black one or don't care about that kind of thing, go for it.
