>The Krasnodar Krai authorities plan to pay their Mobile Task Force (MOG) fighters 50,000 rubles per month
Would you spend your days cruising around in a technical and taking potshots at drones for $600 a month?
>>
>>65382013
>shoot at drone
>next one chases down my GAZ with a whopping 100hp
Nah, I'm good.
>>
>>65382013
>Would you spend your days cruising around in a technical and taking potshots at drones for $600 a month?
Believe it or not, meatwave assaults
>>
>>65382013
>$600 to get cubed
i get that much in unemployment benefits so i'm good my man
>>
You think people who suspect Putin will be mobilizing in Autumn will try and rush into these regional/private anti-drone squads to hide from the front line? Or will the authorities just assume control and drag them to Konstantinivka regardless?
>>
>>65382089
There is no way anybody who's even remotely related to military shit doesn't get shifted onto the front
if you don't want to be starring in a drone video somewhere in donbass it's probably time to gtfo or go live in a tent, assuming you can't bribe your way out
>>
>>65382013
>600,000 rubles a year when the median russian annual income is 880,000 rubles

so you're getting underpaid to get shot at and you probably need to buy your own equipment too. sounds awesome
>>
>plus side
out in the open and it's nice weather
you get to roll around and do DAKKA all over the place
missing everything? bullet stream trailing off into residential neighborhoods? lol who cares, just make it look heroic like great-granddad against the nazis
drones will ignore you since they're going for actually valuable targets
don't have to be in the next meatwave assault

>down side
drones might not always ignore you
you'll be in meatwave assault #n+1 eventually
you get forever remembered as an air defense cuck
>>
>>65382013
In Moscow they pay 230000 rubles.
>>
>>65382013
It's in Russia, so no.
And they pay $300, so no way I'd risk my life for $100. $50 isn't that much anyway.
>>
>>65382013
I get triple that in tips on top of 28/h so no thanks
>>
>>65382023
NTA, but do you know how shitty roads in Rusia are?
More hp would just kill you in a roll over.
>>
>>65382097
Look at teh upside.
If you take that job you can maybe avoid getting mobilzed and cubed.

And if you time things right, you can fuck off home with a truck and two MGs when the whole state starts unravelling.
>>
>>65382215
>If you take that job you can maybe avoid getting mobilzed and cubed.
Do you think they're not going to mobilize people who are already paid to bum around with materiel?
The only forces that will be spared will be internal security that keep proles in line and security forces for monke and friends.
>>
>>65382217
>Do you think they're not going to mobilize people who are already paid to bum around with materiel?
In a sane, normal military, of course not.
in Russia, where this is Kranosdar Krai's force, paid for by whoever happens to run that part of the country and not the Ministry of Defense?
Who knows, depends on whatever backroom deal was made.

And I wouldn't count on internal Security being spared, at some point the Chechens etc. will have to be dealt with.
>>
>>65382013
You've just enlisted.
The next day you're put into a meatwave on the frontline.
But sure, go ahead.

They are using conscripts (the regular ones who do national service) in MOGs as well, who basically do that for no money
>>
>>65382535
Do they get droned in Crimea and along the southern highway?
>>
>>65382013
Look, i know /k/ loves to laugh at russian stuff.
But tell me. Can Ukraine do any better? Can they stop drones and ballistic missile better than russia??
What weapon do they have to protect large area from hundreds of drones and missile?
>>
>>65382558
Not sure if they are sent there yet
>>
>>65382571
Ballistic missiles no but drones yes Ukraine has much more sophisticated low-cost drone interceptors. A couple Russian units perform comparable anti-drone tasks like Rubicon but there aren't nearly enough of them compared to what Ukraine has and especially compared to what Russia needs relative to its huge size to defend itself from drones.
>>
>>65382571
>but what about ukraine tho
fuck off zigger
>>
>>65382013
Anon, I'm not a turdie, for that money I could just work two days a month.
>>
>>65382571
Their weapon is coordination. They can gather information on incoming drones and direct forces along their flight path to intercept way faster than Russia can get its mooks going.
>>
>>65382571
one has spent decades boasting about how it's a military superpower capable of steamrolling the entirety of NATO, and the other is one of the poorest nations on the continent
we have higher expectations for russia because it assured us that it met them
>>
>>65382098
>don't have to be in the next meatwave assault
YET!
Sort of got to factor in as long as you're useful then they might keep you from being deployed but its not something you'd count on considering the drunks, oldies and other bumblefucks that they recruit... you might end up looking like prime meatwave material. Those mid-range drones are also fucking scary, as if the little FPV buggers aren't a nightmare on their own the mid range ones are quick and carry about 5kg warheads on the smallest ones.
Which is going to evaporate the truck and anyone on it

At least Krasnodar is probably one of the more pleasant parts of Russia to live in I suppose, when its not being on fire, beaches are kinda fucked though

Yes. These niggers with machine guns are ruslims cosplaying what ukies had to invent and iterate over during 2022+. Ukies have actual normal people manning the teams and those teams have coordination. Russians themselves have a lot of bad things to say about those MOGs.

Well in theory that sounds like a fun time, since it's far enough away that Ukie drones are probably too expensive to waste on two guys in a truck.
However
>99% chance of getting meatwaved and cubed the second you sign the contract
>95% chance half your unit has very based and trad views about punitiv anal sex
>80% chance your commanding officer will just pocket your paycheck
It's just a toxic work environment man.

Talk to people who have Soviet army experience (not just Russian army experience but Soviet army experience), a lot of them will tell you the bulk of dysfunction and carelessness on all levels was there. But it seems there was also a religious-level belief in the magic of mass. Dilluting and spreading thin any resource imaginable to generate and keep that holy mass, while sacrificing all quality/readiness standards.

>Blyatinas must now deal with Norks taking their jerbs
Fellas, is it too much to hope for that we'll see some societal upheaval and mob violence by Russians against Asians within Russia after/during this war? The chinks kind of left them out to dry so I can imagine some "We got stabbed in the back" type resentment. Not like they're gonna blame PUTIN.
>>
>>65385603
If and when Putin leaves office before achieving victory his successor absolutely will throw him under the bus for this, to make it easier to save face. And that's assuming transfer of power is peaceful.
>>

>>
>>65385614
He's leaving the office when he's dead, not sooner.
>>
>>65382558
Legally speaking, there's nothing stopping that from happening, because conscripts aren't allowed to serve outside of Russia if they aren't currently at war. This is why Putin did the annexation paperwork to legally make this, as well as Kherson, Zaporizhia, Odessa and the Donbas officially part of Russia; as then it means they can send conscripts to serve there without officially having to declare a war.

So they've probably sent some, but from what I can tell, they prefer to bully and force them into taking out full military service first. Not sure why, given how placid the Russian population is, but they do seem to be reluctant to use them on mass; but that might change this year with the high likelihood of another mobilisation after the elections.
>>
>>65382674
>>65382606
This. The Russians have access to similar equipment, but there is just no communication and co-ordination between anyone in any of the AD network.
It's why a lot of the drone interception attempt videos have been looking so ridiculous, because they have a random mess of MANPADS, small arms and AA guns of dubious quality just firing wildly into the sky, often in the middle of busy public spaces, with no one trying to get people to lead their shots, or perform proper target priority calls.
>>
>>65385786
>when food prices in russia are higher than in high income west-european ones
Not all of them. Shitty local alcohol and cigs are cheap AF. Some local food can also be cheap. Services are generally cheap. Gas was cheap lmao.

Shit like this is exactly why the vatniks on 4chan never intend to move to Russia. They support a nation they would fear living in.

>>65386111
Why, they are the ones with the food, unlike the Russians who've had to abandon a large part of the harvest due to not having enough fuel to run the farms.
It won't really bother them too much, as they can just send it through their land borders and out through friendly ports that way. It'll take longer, but the grain will still get out.
>>

A small number of lucky ones will be kept for the token self-defense mission but the rest will be considered extra easy to recruit for the front lines since they're already waist deep. The entire thing will probably end up as a funnel to the frontline.

She would need an exit VISA and nine other government approved friends, plus FSB handler, by the time she could afford a ticket to leave. I also think Aeroflot Planes might be classed as ICBM's at that stage too, so you might need to meet her half-way in Alaska after they depart by canoe.

Alternate hypothesis: Norks are meat grinder adverse and so far are only used in major operations inside Russia itself. What if the promised 30k troops are entirely AD so Putin can empty out the ranks of his own more or less useless AD forces?

If they bring their own equipment the Norks could probably replace 2x their number of mobile gun teams and ballistic based AD. The Russians they are replacing will be better trained than most 12 day mobniks simply because they have lived longer than 12 days and in many cases have their own transport. They are also competent/intelligent enough to avoid the front in the first place so they have some sense of preservation. Their modest amount of AD experience helps with drones as well.

By replacing the AD troops with Norks and sending them to the front Russia could gain a 'intermediate' class of troops; not their dwindling 'professional' troops but not mobniks either. Think African warlord tier, especially if they bring their equipment and vehicles. If i had Norks that can't be used for meatwaves or major offensive operations this is how i would use them, especially if i had access to their vast stockpile of AA guns.

Acksually Russia is only 8th poorest HOWEVER due to their own bullshit (territorial claims) they have to have their per capita income averaged out with occupied Ukraine, Belarus and Transnistria which puts them comfortably in the same category as Albania.
