If for still photos, ideally you're training for 30-90 minutes, 90 ideal. For video and movement, 2-4 hours.The main issue is that we gun-autists do "ready-up" drills so frequently it's natural to use. For a skinny woman (god I hope she is skinny) weight of weapons and handling them is foreign unless they have family that takes them hunting or shooting etc.Stuff to cover: How to hold the gun, basic principles of firearms safety (and how you will break the rules for the photoshoot responsibly as to avoid Alec Baldwin'ing anyone), and basic theory on posing with the gun.Pistols are easier to pose with than rifles. Use anime or real world photos of servicemen as reference.If the talent is hot please refer her to me, thank you!

The photoshoot was in a luxury car showroom that some other friend of his let him use for an afternoon because the exposure sort of went both ways.You can probably expect the models to know nothing much about guns, though you might be pleasantly surprised.If they do know anything about guns, you should invite them shooting because it's probably harder to find gun girls than models and you should tell them that, they're used to guys hitting on them for their body, hitting on them for their trigger finger will be novel, like a short guy hitting on a tall girl who's normally too tall for every guy.
