I've had a drunk person "fly kick" me like that exactly to the base of my spine from behindI was pushed maybe a meter or two forward and didn't fall.I gained 0 bruises. I was completely fine.It matters where you kick people, it matters how you kick them and it also matters what footwear you have on because footwear is good at transferring force slowly.You have to hit a weakspot, you have to put force behind the kick. You bodyweights speed alone is not enough to inflict real hurt because your leg is springy.The same guy ran at me and I managed to jump, get him around the back of the neck from the left with my right arm as he ran into me swinging, I pulled my weight down on the back of his neck and he whacked his head off the floor on the way down.He was also fine if a little drunk and concussed.My friend pulled the guy off me after about 2 mins as he was 2-3x my bodyweight, I managed to rip his shirt trying to escape under his weight while still holding his neck down with mine. I have no formal training at all and consider myself mildly athetic but skinny and tall which makes me a target for a lot of drunk idiots looking for fights.I was mildy pissed at the friend for not helping earlier.
