Is there any use case for a laser sight on a edc pistol?I think they're really cool but if they have no purpose then having one would just be larping

I got a flashlight and a green laser on my maverick for hd.I didn't even zero the laser. Only lined up with the sights.Don't need accuracy with buckballs

The technique was to keep you laser and light off until the target presented itself, turn it on as you shoot (to easily point-shoot and blind your target a bit) and then turn it back off Before this laser light combo, there was an even older technique where people would shoot at their target and use the muzzle flash to aim and/or point the next shot that would be way more accurate.

I also have a kid, so my hardware has to be extremely positively locked up. No.Practically? It gives you a *much* clearer idea of where your first bullet is going to go in the fractions of a second you have to decide whether or not you're going to pull the trigger. It'll tell you when your follow-up is back on target. When you're shooting naked and half-blind in the dark in the middle of the fucking night while not tripping over your retarded pets/children and wrangling a strobing light, you will absolutely appreciate the extra layer of reassurance. Point-shooting a couple inches off-plane may not make much of a difference to the upstanding local astrophysicist whose lungs are currently entering orbit, but it can make a hell of a lot of difference where the bullet winds up afterwards.

It may be worthless as a weapon improvement but it's amazing for avoiding the paperwork that would come with using the weapon.
