The screenshot is from a mod for Nuclear Option that among other things adds a 6 ton drone with generally superior maneuverability to manned fighters with a much larger payload than any wingman concept I have seen. For example the US' real life XQ-58 has an empty weight of 1.1 tons and a max payload of 540~ kg. This has an empty weight of 6 tons and several tons payload. It's basically a slightly scaled down multirole fighter capable of far higher maneuverability due to not having to keep a man alive inside it.Do you think that sort of profile will useful? Do you think the US/Europe/China would adopt something similar, or will the lighter concepts we've seen in real life remain until and after mass adoption?I'm not asking about how realistic some retard's OC is, just if advanced fixed wing jet propelled drones in the near to mid future might look more like small munition dispensers or small fighters. Also, imagine the wild weasel shit you could do with a jet pulling a couple dozen Gs
>>65390138I think you should spend less time browsinf vidya wikis and more time browsing real wikis that contsin the answer your question.
Why make them significantly smaller than fighters and not just use the weight savings to make fighters that carry more further
