Long range ones are not worth it unless you have nukes.Iran has spent literally $5-6 billion over the last year firing thousands of IRBMs at Israel with a 90% interception rate (with the interceptors being about 10% the cost of what they're intercepting) and killed like 20 people total, all civilians.
