>take artillery>Remove the tube, add terminal guidance, sensors>Becomes a missile>Take bombs>Add fold out wings>Add terminal guidance>What if we also gave it a ir camera and booster? We are slowly coming full circle and turning every single weapon into a missile Also>Lets have an aircraft carrier thst carries a jet that carries a drone that carries a missileWhen we get railguns theyll be used to launch missiles
>>65392857Turns out making shit capable of manuvering and extending its range is really useful.>it's all gonna be missilesIt's going to be fucking Macross level of missiles.
>>65392857>We are slowly coming full circle and turning every single weapon into a missileI don't like where this is going.>In the future, will all soldiers carry missiles?>No, they will be the missile.
>>65392857Everything is a missile if you try hard enough.
$55,000can be put together in a weekend with a team. 1100 kilometer rangecarries a big ass bomb. flies as slow as you wantWildberries? Sure I'll crash into herBig explosionscosts less than a shaheed
Artillery shells are already missiles.Missiles are projectile weapons. Bullets are missiles, arrows are missiles, throwing spears are missiles, etc. The reason we say rocket-propelled grenade instead of missile is because grenades are already missiles (unless you are doing a suicidal attack).
>>65392912but... where is radar?
Since man first invented pointy stick and threw it they've been wishing to be able to guide it and extend its range.So...I guess...yeah?
>>65392857It's all drones, anon. Some drones get fired out of tubes at submarines, some drones get dropped out of planes above their target.
>>65392931You really felt smart when you typed this out, didn't you?Missile in this sense is defined as a guided rocket. But you knew that. Cunt.
>>65393288Where were going, we dont need radar to see
>>65392912$55k for the mod kit or $55k for the whole thing?
>>65392912Is this thing a repurposed kitfox kit plane?https://kitfoxaircraft.com/
>>65392877why hasn't iran created shaheds piloted by shaheds?
>>65393625Because the shahed does not know where it isn't.
>>65393453Not a kitfox per se, those are made in the US. Similar design philosophy.
Glide kits and screw on JDAM/APKS type seekers for 107mm rockets, they don't actually need the tube. You could have a frame backpack with a guided mini V1 using the ammo from the world's cheapest POS MLRS.
>>65394495And make it remotely fired so you effectively have 20km range precision mines and while you are at it give it a little solar panel with a wireless recharger for a small observation/lasing drone..
