Shot a 2 inch thick slab of plexiglass that I had somehow acquired with birdshot. Every single pellet ricochetted back towards me and my sister, thank God we wore eye pro eitherwise one of us would have lost an eye instead of just a few small welts. We laugh about it now but it was definitely an "oh fuck" moment

I also got stuff from a mine going off about 40 meters behind me which completely vaporised on guy and took half the face and most of the jaw off the gut behind me, that's in the back of my right thigh and knee. I also got shot in the right shoulder blade but my body armour stopped it but it did damage as well as fragments from an RPG. Broken bones are always very painful but it takes 30-40 minutes before you are in agony. I got stabbed once and did not notice it until about 20 minues later when I got home and saw bood on the floor., I thought it was a punch My hands were extremely painful plus I could only move a couple of fingers so stuff like pissing and deserting was very challenging. I still have sometimes accute pain and frozen shoulders and a limp that comes and goes you get used to that. Mostly people who get shot are in no pain initially but are usually dead or dying you don't survive getting shot with a rifle it kills you. The thing straight up vaporised, couldn't find any of it left except little shards of plastic in the grass where I dove in during fire and movement. He was unironically a tough motherfucker as he got that round off at 75m with irons while actively being shot at by 3 other people with M4s.
