Primary Arms keeps sending me these promotional pamphlets in my orders telling me SOLGW makes the world’s best fighting rifle. Is this true? Also if no then what is?
>>65395752There is maybe a 5% actual performance difference between a PSA and whatever Gucci AR of your personal choice. And I say this as someone with a Gucci AR and zero PSA products. Whatever this rifle is called, it's literally just an AR.
>>65395762> And I say this as someone with a Gucci AR and zero PSA productsThen how do you know this?
>>65395762But payed internet influencers on shitstagram told me the SOLGW MK1 had negative recoil, why would (((influencers))) lie about such claims to a potential customer like myself?
>>65395766I have a friend that owns six PSA rifles. Is mine nicer? Absolutely. Is it three times as nice? Three times the performance? Absolutely not. But it was three times the price. If cost doesn't matter, as it didn't to me, get a nice AR. But these named ARs are literally just ARs with a rail and shit already installed. That's it. Internally there is basically no difference.I don't have a problem with nice ARs but it literally doesn't matter which one you get. This SOLGW is not going to somehow outperform a BCM or LMT or whatever.
>>65395762Bingo. I bet you could build something with very similar performance (cheap out on the lower except the trigger and invest in the bcg and barrel) and save $1000+.
>>65395784A BCM upper/lower/BCG with a high end barrel would bury almost every shilled super special AR.
>>65395790You can say the same thing about aero precision. Nice bolt and barrel, and a nice trigger, lapped upper receiver/barrel mating surfaces and bolt head, better than 99% of gucci
>>65395820> aero precision.Aren’t they kill?
PSA 11.5 SBR
>>65395752Realistically the limiting factor is you. If a rifle can retain its accuracy and more importantly is reliable the rest is user experience and skill.
>>65395845Pretty much, declared bankruptcy after a mile long shit run of dumb ideas
>>65399267Being in Oregon probably didn't help.I will cherish my 30mm SPR mount.
>>65395790That's a $1800+ build now days bud. Not sure if you're aware of BCM's current pricing model but Daniel Defense is several hundred dollars cheaper and LMT isn't even that far off BCM prices. I'd hope BCM performs well if they want to charge $400 for a lower and $800 for a upper with no bcg or charging handle.
>>65395752I prefer AK-47
>>65399460And? The rifle in OP is $2900. I never said it would be $600 but I could easily build an $1800 rifle that would blow the doors off the SOLGW.
