Be Honest
>>65400516They should remake it in 357 mag
>>65400516It’s just nazi germany’s solution to their own version of the atf
M1932/M712 Schnellfeuer was fun as an idea.
>>65400516It looks cool so all criticism is automatically invalidated, how could you tell?
>>65400523There were a few built chambered for 9x25mm MauserExport.Load that shit hot enough and it's basically just rimless .357Mag.
>>65400516I think they're neat if not exactly practical. A new run of the mag fed ones would be cool to see
>>65400581There's a lot of weird chamberings for the 96. I kind of want to see some of those Chinese warlord era ones in 45
Hey that's the gun from fallout

Hey that’s the gun from Star Wars
>>65400516It's just pretty
Why is it called the Red 9?
>>65400745It's a communist 9mm.
>>65400745Red 40 hadn't been invented yet.
One of the very first truly viable self-loading pistols. 7.63 Mauser is itself a pretty potent cartridge, especially for its day, so pair that with the stock attachment and it's a handy little carbine. It has its claim to fame for a reason, to say nothing of its iconic look and media history. That said, it's very much a 19th Century design, and it awkward as hell to shoot. I still love the hell out them though.

>>65400550>nazi germany’s solutionare you retarded
>>65400516I never hear anyone actually saying its a good gun by modern standards, they just say it looks cool. It was genuinely good in 1896, but it was just really common in the early 20th century because there were a million licensed copies and clones.
>>65400516How much do these cost these days?
