Everything under 7,62mm is basically useless in a war
>>65401347You're right, but everyone is going to be big mad.
>>65401347I agree, .308 rifle with .30 super carry sidearm
Body armor is KING
>Autists on an imageboard know more about war than most militariesThanks, I never would have known!
>>65401390If you knew anything about the military, you'd know that they're often wrong.
How, would ya say, most people die in war OP? In wars past artillery accounted for the overwhelming majority of casualties. In war of the long past disease accounted for most of the casualties. In modern wars drones account for most of the casualties. So it doesn't really matter what handheld firearms anyone takes into battle because you're fare more likely to be killed by disease, artillery, or drones and in that case a 22LR double action revolver would be sufficient. Yes. I would rather go out with a team of dudes slinging 22LR and a manpack radio in contact with dudes slinging 105 and 155 than with a bunch of idiots carrying rifles of any caliber.
>>65401398Not just often, basically always
>>65401390And when the people who know from experience and expertise chime in to correct the retards the said retards will ignore the reply and continue shitposting or call them Langley Kikes. Modern contrarians are the fucking wortst because they don't even know (or care) what original contrarianism is, similar to modern day anarchists.
>>65401443You sound like a hipster.
>>65401347Depends on the environment. In the swamp land forests of Eastern and Central Finland, you can spot a moving enemy from 50 meters to 200 meters away. You can shoot a round at said enemy and expect the bullet hit the first twig at 20 meters to 50 meters away. Continue shooting.
>>65401347>,
>>65401399You do still need effective infantry to fix the enemy. Infantry with a weapon with poor lethality and volume of fire (volume of fire being more important) will fail to prevent the maneuver of enemy infantry. Your theoretical dude with a double action 22lr will get his shit rocked by someone with an AK who can constantly put fire on him and close to throw a grenade on him, and then his manpack's no good and his nice position is lost to the enemy.
>>65401347Then I am under 7.62.
>>65401354Now I want .309 and .31 Super Carry. This is The Way.
>>65401385I SHOOT 10MM!
>>65402062Oh and someone catching a .22lr to a limb might still even be able to walk whereas a SCHV round won't be the case. TLDR there's a reason everyone went to SCHV
>>65401443>wortst
>>65401347Why do old people look like this
