It’s 7:30 AM local time on August 6, 1945. (You) have just woken up to find yourself teleported into a deserted alleyway right next to Shima Hospital in Hiroshima, Japan. You have nothing on you besides your pajamas and whatever personal effects you took to bed (cell phones, guns, knives, teddy bears, etc.). You don’t speak Japanese (unless you do IRL, in which case your job just got a lot easier) and you will be immediately recognized as a filthy gaijin by any passersby. You have exactly 45 minutes to get clear of the blast zone before the Ebola Gay shows up and releases its 15 kt surprise over the city. What do (You) do?
a thread died for this but granted, being /k/, was probably a worthless thread
>>65402157Go out to one of the rivers, look for the nearest mountain, and fucking book it until I got behind it. Hiroshima is covered in mountains so you have at least one within a mile if you.
>>65402157>make my way to Geibi Bank>take hostages>hide in vaultEzpz
I beat my dick with the force of 1000 artificial suns to create a force shield of perversion around me.

>>65402157use my limited japanese and Latin to convince anyone I meet that I'm a seminarian at the Nagatsuka Jesuit novitiate.I'll help with the treatment and evacuation of the injured Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam
>>65402209>>65402220Kek, realistically if you are far enough away to not catch fire from the thermal wave you will be blind for ~15 minutes.
>>65402157How fast do the rivers flow? If they are moving I jump in and ride them out of town.
>>65402157>You have nothing on you besides your pajamasYeah no, one of the last things many residents of Hiroshima are going to be seeing that day is a fat white dude streaking past.
>>6540215740min towards safety, get noticed by a random patrol, shot on the spot for being a spy
>>65402157Get fucked by the fallout.
Fuck that, I can make it 10km into cover in 45 minutes.mask up with my shirt, maybe try to find something else along the way to wear and such>>65402252your first mistake was going west. the storm coming in that morning...
The hard part isn't getting into cover or leaving the blast zone, it's not getting caught and detained for being incredibly sussy and getting stuck in the splash radius. In short, you're fucked.
Run while shouting in German.
I am a German living in Japan. Pretty sure I can catch a cab, which would have been a thing. If not, beat someone up and take their bike. The only problem is if someone stops me to check my papers, because I'm somehow wearing pajamas during the work day, or if I get lost on my way out because I have no idea where anything is in Hitoshima today, much less in 1945.
Find a window, break it to make a makeshift knife, take a bank teller hostage, and force her and the other staff down into the vault with me. Tell them:わしは、未来から来た日本人じゃ。あと四十分もせんうちに、この広島は、跡形ものうなる。https://www3.boj.or.jp/hiroshima/atomic-bombE/index.html
Issue with hiroshima was mostly that the Japanese had no idea such a weapon even existed, far less an early warning system, so the Japanese civilians didn't even have 35 seconds warning. Because of the radial effects of a nuclear bomb, if victims in the four wave zone simply dived onto the ground, almost all would have survived. If victims in the third wave zone had 30 seconds to take cover behind a heat resistant object, a tree, a wall, most would have survived. If victims in the B2 zone had 2 minutes to find a hardened shelter, a ditch, bunker, drain, many would have survived. So the total lack of warning probably means that a hundred times more japaense civilians (who all the victims were) died. The Issue is that after a mass casualty attack, medical care is nill, things like burns, infection, minor spalling can easily become fatal, especially if the vicim has no medical knowledge. So if you survived the blast, could you treat your own minor injuries? Then how quickly could you leave the disaster area, if at all, and what would the humanitarian responses be?If you were in B2, hid in a chimney, treated your wounds with rice paste, sake, cloth bandages, and walked 10km out of the area wearing a gas mask you probably would have survived. But if you had 3 seconds warning, were in the factory the government forced you to work in 12 hours a day- certain death.
Also obliged to point out, difference between jingoism, fiction, revisionism.Laughing at all the Japenese people you killed, if you believe they deserved it, is valid. That's your view, it's what really happened, it's an honest view.If you are Japanese, COPE about winning fictitious wars, retreating into fiction, expected. Anyone who looses a war tends to do this, they have to have heroes, have to be the hero of something. But revisionism is an assault on truth, it's a dishonest position, repulsive and Jewish. How dare you pretend you saved japenese soldiers, in a work of fiction you wrote, from a bomb you really dropped. fuck off. >Lauren Shuler Donner>Chris ClaremontI didn't even know, googled it ten seconds ago, every-fucking-time. Both the original cartoonist and modern film director were Jewish. There is something about this vile kind of historical revisionism which is both culturally, and demonstrably jewish. Ban me for /pol/shit, someone had to say it.You make the thread, someone has to say it.
>>65403101What you actually sound like:>Wah-shai… uh fyoo-chuh-rah kahm J’p’n-eez, jah.>N’foh-dee minnits, ee-roh-shee-mah… ah-toh-kah-tah moh noh… nah-rah. Gohn. Ahllovvit.Yeah, good luck with that.
>>65402157>Ebola GayReally?
>>65402163I think its a good, weapons-based original thread. (You) do know this is the weapons board, right?
