>>65406300Fallout is overrated. Radioactive dust is still dust and it'll come off with soap and water. Most bombs don't even produce a lot of fallout since it takes away from the blast-yield. A lot of the radioactivity also comes from super-unstable isotopes that don't last the day. CRBN gear isn't even all that rad resistant, it just keeps the dust from getting on your skin or in your lungs. So the plan is to do the bare minimum fighting possible in protective suits then GTFO of the irradiated zone, ditch the HazMat gear somewhere isolated, and scrub down everything else. Later, someone can assess if they want to clean the CBRN gear off or just seal it on a concrete cannister.

You can spend days in it if necessary, and the ensemble makes sleeping easy. Moderns who never lived the Cold War (and more than a few dumbasses who did) have strange ideas about CBRN warfare. It's not fun but that's not the point. Ensuring your mask seals so you don't fog your lenses matters.
