>"Robust and precise"? Here's a Steyr HS. 50

If someone came into my shop asking for weapons like this I would tell them to either tell me the exact usage and specs of their weapon or get the fuck out and take their fancy coins with them.

I have just the thing Mr. Wick. I present to you, the Super Soaker 50. It is thee classic. Made of high grade polymer compounds it only weights 340 grams, high capacity tank holds 700ml of water and pump action charge gives it a range of up to 50 feet. It's compact, only 19" long, comes with a laminated carry box and we can wrap it... for discretion.

Why does he even need the sommelier? Why would someone like John Wick need lectured about custom Glocks? Wouldn't he know everything about modern guns?
>>
>>65409979
Because it's always a smart move to get a second opinion. It's like how a lawyer should never represent themselves, even if they know that specific area of law.

The whole series is just cool vibes, no thoughts, head empty. Also I like peter serafinowicz so it's good he got a popular role.

They're part of the same cult, when you're in a club you use the club lingo. It's much more offensive that their lingo doesn't actually mean anything.

Wick doesn't know what's available. He could want an AK-74u and a PSS "vul" but the Sommelier only carries NATO.
>>
>>65410626
He may want slavshit but the sommelier would be correct to give him NATO
>>
>>65410626
Wick is too retarded about the technical aspect to have preferences.

>Hey, I have to kill a bunch of heavily armored dudes. What’s best?
>>How about a fancy 9mm race gun?
>sounds perfect!

Yes, I know it’s because Taran Butler is an egotistical fuckwad. The point remains.
>>
It's just a film guys/gays. The vast majority of the audience neither know nor care about guns. It's just meant to be a cool film. Read a book about guns if you want accuracy
>>
>>65409895
Fuck Keanu and fuck this movie.
>>
>>65410641
And Wick, being a professional, knows to trust his sommelier's recommendations.

Am I the only guy on /k/ who doesn't think these are very good movies?
>>
>>65410861
I've literally never seen a single one
The plot seems too reddity
>>
>>65410861
The first one is the most /k/, John is portraited as a clean operator who shoots dudes efficiently and isn't fighting ninjas. If you can get over the heccin doggo plot line.
Every one after that less /k/ but better with general audiences.
>>
>>65409979
It's a high class thing. It's meant to be an "experience"
Having a gun sommelier is fucking cool.
>>
>>65410861
I've only seen the 4th, which I enjoyed as an over the top series of action stunts n' stuff. It was stupid but it was fun stupid like the old Arnie movies and I thought it was well shot.
>>
>>65410761
Fuck you, Keanu is a bro.
>>
>>65410861
The first one was great. They went downhill after that. I’ve not seen the spin-off, so I can’t judge. But it’s probably bad.

the first one was good and he wasnt immortal, random mooks had a chance
2 was dumb
3 a fucking shooting gallery where guys didnt even try to kill him just pop up to get shot, there multiple points where legit we could kill you but we wont.
4 jumped the shark
>>
>>65410861
First one was enjoyable. 2 is palatable, in a guilty pleasure sort of way. 3 was pretty bad. Haven't seen 4.
In their defense they are meant to be popcorn action flicks, not films.
>>
>>65409995
No, the first one was good, the rest is comic book bullshit
>>
>>65411504
>3 was pretty bad. Haven't seen 4.
4 is better than 3 but still bad. They both feel more like Marvel and less like the gritty world the first movie had. I haven't seen the spin-off with the lady nor the spin-off tv shows about the lore of the hotels.
>>
>>65411497
>3 a fucking shooting gallery where guys didnt even try to kill him just pop up to get shot, there multiple points where legit we could kill you but we wont.
Yep, that scene where Wick was having a knife fight with aproximately 10 guys and turned his back to a bad guy, and the bad guy decided that instead of stabbing Wick in the neck, he'd just grab Wick's shoulder and turn him around to remind Wick that it's his turn to die, was extremely silly.

In this video it happens from 2:19 to 2:39. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v00zKyXbfD4
>>
>>65409895
This scene sounds like he's soliciting gay sex

The first one reminded me of Hotline Miami in a good way. Just a bunch of Russian Mobsters in over their heads up against an actual force of nature who doesn't talk much.

>>
The first John Wick is a few months away from being as old as The Matrix was in 2013. The threads about it here got me to the theater to see it.
>>65411497
The first one actually made sense too. There was a criminal underworld of usual organized crime stuff and they also employed a few assassins. But by the end of the 3rd movie, it's revealed that the entire global economy runs on assassins killing other assassins in numbers that make the whole concept unsustainable.
>>65411825
In the Casablanca shootout in 3, you can see two separate instances on the sides of the screen where baddies just stop moving and wait for their turn to do their moves or run in to get killed.
>>
>>65410861
Liked the first two, the rest were ass and jumped the shark.
>>
>>65410013
The audience didn't need it either, it was just advertising, or pandering at best. The first one used guns so cool that they didn't need a spoken introduction, but every sequel had to shoehorn in an ad for whatever Taran Tactical was shitting out, and it allowed the casuals in the audience to get it when the movie plainly spells things out for them.

>it's revealed that the entire global economy runs on assassins killing other assassins in numbers that make the whole concept unsustainable.
The economy was run by criminals, but not every criminal was an assassin; there were smugglers, illegal information brokers, extortionists, drug traffickers, etc. The third movie's speech about hashishiyya meant to show why the high table kept such a tight leash on assassins specifically, not to claim that they were all assassins.
>In the Casablanca shootout in 3, you can see two separate instances on the sides of the screen where baddies just stop moving and wait for their turn to do their moves or run in to get killed.
Again, I fully agree.

Are you going to pretend that two dandies staring into each others eyes at the bar, speaking in knowing, mischievous innuendo doesn't come across as gay guys flirting?

Imagine making extended, meaningful eye contact with the walrus that works at your LGS and saying

Oh yeah, Winston was a massive dick for not arming the rest of his employees with long guns. There were AKs of all kinds, PTRs, .308 Galils, AR-15s, SIG SG552s, G36s, Tavors, FN F2000s, Kel-Tec RFBs, etc., but his men had to risk their lives for him with only some Glocks.
