my fave knife at any price, $1.50 at Diaso Japan.Its just handy downsized "chef knife" good for cutting and chopping, and stays in my dish rack next to the sink and counter. Fly-weight thin and only bevel on one side.working a sheath, probably out of heat formed PVC pipe, the poor man's Kydex.jack and "hunting" knives suck for any food prep besides gutting some wild beast.

Manager at work called me in because 3 colleagues complained the knives, guillotine, "even the potato peeler" was sharp and assumed I was responsible. 6 people cut themselves last month, 2 badly, because they were using too much force cutting things with blunt knives. Dumb question but why do some knife sheathes have two knives in them? I can understand the kukri because it is a very big knife, and as such a smaller knife in the sheath is handy.But i see regular mora sized knives with a sheath that also has a smaller knife in it, which seems... overkill
