I have a stripped Griffin and an LMT lower and I don't know what to do with them.
I built up the DPMS first, for some reason.
I should've just started on the Griffin but I was debating between an A5 tube or a Carbine tube.
Carbine tube with an H3 equivalent captured buffer works fine.
Cycled both my 11.5 supressed 5.56 and my supressed .300 with subsonic ammo.
Probably just gonna copy it on the Griffin for my 5.56, put the .300 on the DPMS and try a 6ARC or full sized rifle on the LMT.
Maybe even do a silly piston build or something

-Will this bolt work with the (unnotched) hammer on my 9mm Colt 635 kit? It is an old upper (the guy I bought it from said he bought it in 1996), but I can’t tell if it is an auto or semi style

Maybe it's helped by the eyebox but the eye relief feels better than my shitty 3x magnifier which is better on paper, it's piss easy to acquire a sight picture, and you can see everything

For me, prism optics and magnified optics are crystal clear without my glasses.
The optic acts as vision correction.
Why they even bother making 1x prisms.
Plain 2MOA red dots are a star shape and I still need to wear glasses, but through a magnifier the dot becomes clear withoit glasses and so does the sight picture.
Unfortunately green dots didn't really help much either besides looking kinda cool I guess.

No, the optic itself should clear up the image regardless of prescription unless you're legitimately blind or have an extreme correction.

Even with an LPVO set at 1x the reticle is clear but a plain red dot I see multiple dots, in a string.

I have carbine gas handguards and I think I'm going to build another 3 rifles. The one is likely to just be a BCA barrel I had taken off a junk upper. I'm thinking a 14.5 and then a 16. Ballistic Advantage isn't getting a lot of hate these days but it also seems like they are the budget option. Is that the case or is it just that the product is so good for value that there is a why spend more attitude?

Third, I put a 37mm on my quad rail rifle just for shits and giggles and holy fuck this is heavy. Is the reason we don't see under barrel mounted launchers solely because of the weight?
