They need to make a .45 Super revolver with a 6.5" barrel.

That's it. Just wanted to say that.

you can load any modern 45 acp revolver to 460 rowland pressures 40.000 psi and not have any problems it has full case support.

So 45 super is pretty much safe. the question is why since you have the 44 magnum already doing the same better, cheaper and with more variety.
Fucking mong
>>
Would be funnier if it was a 6.7 barrel methinks

I want a 24-shot rectangular pepperbox fletcher handgun that fires .22 caliber steel flechettes sequentially like a metal storm or all at once with a “power shot” two finger trigger.

How about a .45 Super in a 9" barrel semi auto? It's on par with what hot .44s do out of a 4" barrel.

so 0.3 mm is really important to you... for context the thickness of an hipodermic needle is 0.5mm, like 3 sheets of paper. fucking stupid retarded piece of shit

Ruger makes a redhawk that does .45 colt normally and .45acp with moonclips. That would probably handle 45 super or 45 smc just fine. I think it's only a 4in barrel though.
>>
>>65447684
Why not just uh get a .454 casull or roided .45 long colt, nigga?
>>
>>65448297
4.2 inch barrel, but they also make a 5.5 and 7.5 inch model not cut for moon clips that you could theoretically just get cut for them

I want something that recoils less than a 44 magnum, but has a bigger diameter than a 10mm or 41 magnum, while still pushing a bullet over 1,000 fps.

I want a 230 grain hardcast/solid pushing 1,100+
>>
>>65448470
then roll your own .44mag

1911 w/ a 24# recoil spring, G21 with an aftermarket fully supported chamber and a 24# recoil spring, USP 45 or MK 23, load .45 Supers. Here's actual published data, just work it up.

I just fell in love with this.

$2k was my limit. I found what I was looking for.

It's longer cases introduce the higher probability of jamming. That's why I like .45 Super, same external dimensions as .45 Auto, less reliability issues.

I keep meaning to make some 45 rimmed…. I’ve got waaay more 45LC brass than I need and cutting a 200 or so down to length wouldn’t be to annoying…
>>
>>65448846
>45 rimmed
Chopped down LCs and .45 Auto Rim have different rim dimensions
>>
>>65448953
Yeah but I can run it in a 45 lc revolver
>>
>>65449017
Fair enough. Can't argue that.
