It's the 23rd century and us Earthlings have to mine the moons and planets of Sol b/c nobody recycled back in the day. Extraterrestrial investor types (greed is NOT exclusive to Earth!) want us to not have access to our own resources so they can make us pay out the nose instead. And no they don't want to simply kill us since humanity is much, much more useful alive. You've got hundreds of moons to protect or take back in a three-dimensional sphere with a radius of 10 light hours (HOURS not years). Fortunately you have access to ayylmao tech (and so do they) which can, among other things:
-instantly accelerate to and make 90 degree turns at mach 5
-travel at a top speed of 1.5 c or higher
-pass through solid matter (energy heavy)
-tractor beam! (also energy heavy)
-withstand micrometeorite impacts depending on the craft but not nukes
It ain't cheap to run (a craft's on-board power supply is a futuristic super-battery which can store lots of immediately useful energy, but of course a battery still needs to be charged y'know)
How do you keep the system safe from the interstellar rip-off artists? Big spherical but very thinned out drone swarm? Outposts on the most useful worlds? Be imaginative, this is /k/ after all.
Wimpy mode: only Mars and Earth matter.
Bonus question:
How do you do all this while still keeping the sheeple safe from the ontological shock of aliens existing? Lol.

Turn Jupiter into a Lorentz force railgun. Spit payloads at the enemy at fractional c.

put scouts on the far out planets and use my ftl ships to intercept anyone coming in

How do you have all the tech aliens do without the general public knowing they exist?

Ftl is kind of a mindfuck. Even ignoring the special relativity and time travel shennanigans, someone can arrive in-system before you even detect them leaving. I guess i make a stockpile of FTL antimatter torpedoes. If the ayys do anything i dont like i fire an undetectable and therefore uninterceptable giganuke that just wipes their homeworld right the fuck out.

Its not really practical to design our weapons any further unless we know more about what the physics is doing. Are ships at FTL speeds blind? Do they have infinite mass? Is time distorted for them?
>>
23rd century is gonna look like global Afghanistan, not Star Trek, stupid
>>
It's not possible to leave our solar system. Unless we develop portal travel, flying to other planets will never be possible within the lifetime of our sun

I'm trying to base this off of real-world UFO lore, which means there's guesswork involved but some things can be deduced.
>uninterceptable giganuke that just wipes their homeworld right the fuck out
No homeworld to blow up, they're more of a space-bound multi-species corporation. You'd have to find and kill each of the top-ranking uh, executives, whose locations are kept secret on a need-to-know basis.
>Do they have infinite mass? Is time distorted for them?
No, and no. There are some aspects of physics most humans don't know about, thanks in part to mainstream science being purposely led down the wrong rabbit holes. Much of the Einsteinian "ftl is impossible because of this or that" simply doesn't apply.

(Electro)Magnetically modulated 5 km wide, nanometer thick anti-boron, anti-iron doped anti-carbon continuous graphene sheet orbiting Sun, positioned a bit further around the space of Mars similar to rigs of saturn. Antimatter angle grinder. Invisible to radar and such

>-travel at a top speed of 1.5 c or higher
So we have infinite energy times 1.5, cool.

Nothing else in the scenario really matters. Why would you mine anything when you can just fuse lighter elements to make whatever you need. Why would they ayys care when they can do the same.

>-instantly accelerate to and make 90 degree turns at mach 5

I put AyyLmaoZiggerKiller 9000 AI stealth drones with exactly enough energy to detect, jump through the stellar body it has been slumbering behind until a target is detected. The drone will then seemingly magically accelerate to mach fuck einstein and remove itself and its target to more of a hypothetical high energy physics problem

I will empty the entire budget to build as many of these drones as the entire Solar system can sustain under an intolerant xenophobic surveillance state that will be told (and believe) that nothing is happening on Xitter 4.5

OP is a fag btw

yeah ok we need to delevop space bending technology asap
why cant aliens just help us out already, we already know theyre out there anyways

Nuclear rockets can travel to alpha centauri in under a century, you dolt. How did you not learn the rocket equation and basic relativity in high school?

>>65448454
>travel at a top speed of 1.5c or higher
So basically magic. Infinite energy, infinite computation, cloning your own spacecraft, basically a time-travellers war.

See>>65448999
In this scenario (which is actually true btw) thanks to a clever trick you don't need infinite energy to reach beyond c and it doesn't lead to time distortion. And no I don't know what the trick is.
>>
>>65449283
>thanks to a clever trick
No, you don't get it: it doesn't matter what clever trick you use to get to over c. If you can do it, the how doesn't matter: the result is you automatically have infinite energy, time travel etc by default. Draw a Minkowski diagram, or ask AI to walk you through it since somehow you got onto an 18+ board with a 14- education.

>for every detectable physical object orbiting the sun, which either had a radius greater than or equal to pluto's moon charon, or has substantial resources present which the ayys may be interested in, park an FTL mass driver torpedo in orbit of it.
>each object's mass driver's size should be increased proportionately to its respective orbiting entity such that when the mass driver collides with the object, it causes as powerful of a detonation as possible
>set up a tripwire system so that the moment the ayys set foot on the body or pass close enough to it the mass driver turns on and the orbiting body gets disintegrated
>any attempt to interfere with the mass driver directly leads to the destruction of the body by another hidden mass driver
>the aliens quickly learn to fuck right off

First set up a network of probes around the terminal shock with Soliton vortex generators to collapse any nearby Alcubierre bubble and thus negate FTL in a sphere of a few light-months around our solar system. This buys time (even if they plod around at sublight and pop them one by one it should be a century or two for the tempospatial turbulence to subside, and getting to us via sublight simply isn't going to be economically viable any more than hauling ore shipments from Mercury to Luna via chemical rocket) while you sync up the internet to the Schumann resonance (as per Bush, Lilly, Nelson et.al, if you can sneak a peek past the MJ-12 and MK ULTRA smokescreens) and allow humanity to become its image and it should all be smooth sailing from there. If not I guess the Anatolian LEGION will have to do something for once, or if you're feeling nasty you could always just ask London to point TEAPOT Mk.II at the problem around lunchtime.
Hey, at least you're not getting the OPA involved.

>and it doesn't lead to time distortion
Even just writing this demonstrates that you don't get what the problems with FTL are. FTL breaks causality because it's equivalent not to time distortion but to time travel backwards in time. Time dilation (aka "distortion") not existing would also break causality in subtly different ways since relativistic frames would stop functioning if it were so. Also, falling for techno mumbo jumbo conspiracies in y2k+26 is pathetic.

Uuh, okay so still weird physics then. Assuming its ungameable we still get some weird interactions
The longer a ship moves at FTL, the further back in time you see it. If an ayy ship drops out of warp to enter LEO it needs to slow from 300,000,000m/s to 7000m/s at 1500m/s/s, so it takes 200,000s to do that, so 55.5 hours. I forget my highschool math so im going to say you see it warp in 24 hours before it arrives, when its already 75% the way there because of light lag. They're a day away so functionally impossible to snipe, but they're also seeing you moving faster than light on their screens so you can probably take defensive action they cant prepare for. Id say launch an FTL interceptor missile. The combined lightspeed fuckery would make them unable to dodge, so it should be a free kill.

If acceleration is instant though, thats GG. a space battle is functionally impossible and everything devolves to an interstellar hostage situation
>>
>>65448454
what kind of retard are you?
Any civilization that is immoral dies before this stage of technology

that means in order for humans to make it liveable offworld we would need to execute our leaders and the cults they work for

just like the space faring aliens did

Didn't read all that but some soldiers with M2s should do the trick
