practical for what? A Mav88 is going to be the most bang for your buck as far as price, fun, and versatility. A Rugar 10/22 is going to be fun and cheap for shooting cans, can hunt squirrels and rabbits. A PSA AR is gonna be fun at the range, good home defense, and you can hunt wild boar or coyotes with it. Gonna just skip pistols since those are pretty much just range toys or for self defense.
