...with a nuance.

It's their independence day and loads of foreign VIPs are in town so attacks on the parade are probably not likely but also not worth risking. Same problem Russia had basically but without the begging to be allowed a parade. Still had a small prison exchange oddly, Luka was involved somehow.

Hence an uncrewed parade with a few humans around for photo-ops.

The full video is too long to convert so here's the original:

Interceptor drones got their moment, this is the only shot I've seen that had humans on display and this was probably shot quickly and evacuated before a missile could be tasked.

>it was clowned on because it so blatantly half assed and nobody gave a shit about it
I think it was because it was so blatantly just Trump wanting a parade for himself, the anniversary excuse was just an unsuccessful attempt to make it harder for people to shit on it.

This parade in Kyiv wasn't about Zelenskyy at all, he's not even in the video about it. He did do official events, there was an actual marching parade in front of him but it was a small ceremonial flag raising one and then he handed out medals and borrowed someone's phone so that an invalid vet could get a selfie with him.

A lot of the reason why people consider Zelenskyy (Obama too) so much more likeable than Trump is that both of them are quite humble, personable and almost always classy and well mannered whereas Trump is crude, egotistical and intentionally obnoxious.
>>
>>65451067
>Country at war spending tax money to boost morale and showcase achievement
I don't think it's even much money, that was not an expensive parade, except maybe for shutting down the main street but they do that whenever foreign VIPs are in town.

>had their own republic
USSR wasn't really a decentralized federation in any way that matters.
>control of the ussr for half its existence
Politburo members really weren't national representatives of ANY kind. Like saying that Missouri controlled the US at the end of WW2.
>seat at the UN
A strange relic of the birthing of the UN. Stalin demanded three seats, basically. It wasn't really Ukraine's seat in any meaningful sense.
>Nuclear weapons
By this logic, Belgium has nuclear weapons.

The shitposter is correct in that the USSR wasn't run by Russians for that much of its existence actually but pyccкий миp is an aggressive meme that transcends genetics and whether it's Russians, Georgians, or Ukrainians, they all ruled the USSR by Russian logic.

>>65451175
>Jesus christ, that guy must have been 7" before he was chopped in half. He's huge!
Zelenskyy is smol, please understand.
He would have been a big guy certainly, over 6' I would think.
Ukrainians have a weird split in their population between tiny and huge.
You see a lot more smol guy/tall girl couples in Ukraine than you do elsewhere too.

Looks like they just kept the French camo and added their own markings instead of repainting the entire plane. Not a bad thing, the French camo looks nice, and the extra week or two to fully repaint the planes would have been a waste when they were needed immediately. Maybe they'll repaint with the digital next time they go for a major overhaul.

Hetman is pretty good as a mid-range horilka.
Nikita is a good corn vodka.

I don't think either are really quite good enough to savour straight, I haven't tried the really premium brands yet, that would take some willingness to splurge on alcohol that I can't quite summon.

>here's your humble, personable and classy president btw
Ironically, you're making the point.
It takes humility to be self-deprecating, people like Putin or Trump could never do anything like that, they're too ashamed and would fear being laughed at.

Trump's seething about Obama is because people like Obama just for himself and they only pay lip-service to Trump for what he can do for them. He likes the grovelling but like all narcissists, he wants to be loved and respected and feared and the only one he can achieve is the fear and a load of sycophancy.

I'd kind of like to settle there maybe, I've heard mixed reports about the city but the coast is said to be nice.

For whatever reason, liquor is often the first thing targeted in the tit-for-tat shit of international trade disputes.
The Russians used to tariff Moldovan and Georgian wine, the Canadians went after bourbon, the US went after scotch; it's all very inconvenient to a international drinker.

I lived in China for a while, they had a go at Australian wines one year but that didn't affect me.
I did get to drink some really nice high end scotches because the alcohol tax is a flat 20% with no scaling for price and no luxury tax. The importers were probably paying games with the price they put the 20% on as well.

Meet Australia's second longest serving prime minister, a half-blind, bespectacled, bald gnome who did everything he could to widen the gap between rich and poor, he won a landslide in his first election because everyone was sick of labour and then he lost the lead slowly enough to last three more elections until the population got sick of wedge politics and Labour found someone charismatic enough and then the landslide went the other way.
