was this a good buy 10 years ago? $350. Are newer CC pistols worth upgrading to?

Got my wife a Teal Ruger compact security 9 and it runs well. 9mm is for women and weak men after all.

i mean if the gun works and youre proficient with it (should be after 10 years) a new gun isnt gonna meaningfully impact your ability to defend yourself, which is the whole point of cc

Springfield Hellcat OSP is the closest I got to wanting to change out the LC9s from my carry rotation. 7+1/9+1 upgrade to 11+1/13+1/15+1 in the similar footprint.

It’s harder to control (snappier) but all micros are some form of “same room” range vs compacts and full-sizes being easier at 50+ yards to keep on an 8” circle plate target.

The grip is small so my wife claimed it.

Still carry my EC9s which is the cheaper version. Put a pachmayr grip sleeve on it and it’s a lot easier to hold

no, there isn't a single ruger automatic that isn't low-mid tier.

It's small enough to pocket carry and forget you even have it, goes bang when you pull the trigger, and makes fags online mad for some reason. What's not to like as a carry gun?

hey look its the 'u cant be mean to poorfags and impulse buyers! that's well poisoning!' anon who tries to police the board. i bet he also supports old people in any story he hears.

marketing works. if its not the latest and greatest bullshit available you may as well carry a stick.

I got one $250 9 years ago, which reminds me i need to send it to ruger to fix
>>
I'll never buy a gun less than 600 dollars.

Are you me? That's my carry, same holster too. It's been reliable for me. If I change it out for anything I'll get a VP9CC, I'm thinking my HK45C is probably a bit big for me to carry.

The fuck is a vp9cc

You must consoom, you NEED the ported slides, lightning cuts, and lastly the ribbed texture for pleasure anon, otherwise you are dying when you go head to head with a craze maniac carrying a hi-point. Do you want to die looking poor carrying a 10 year old ruger?

9mm subcompact pistols have come a long way in the last ten years op. the hellcat osp is probably the closest comparison I've personally shot to your lc9s but it's a bitch to shoot. Theyre roughly the same size (hellcat is roughly 3/4 of an inch shorter) but the hellcat is hard to control and you'll feel the recoil badly on your palms. It carries more in it's double stacked 11+ clip. 13+ with the other magazine it comes with. But the hellcat is pretty pricey too about 560+ bones about 300 .ore than lc9s goes for these days

>tl;dr
Personally I'd just stick to you lc9s especially in this god awful gun economy

This anon knows
