Okay... Russia bombs the factory, then what?
What's the play here?
>>
>>65454604
Just don't build it near a hospital or pedestrian bridge. The Russians will always miss.
>>
>>65454604
It's just a full missile with 499/500 screws installed. They install the 500th screw to make built in ukraine then launch it, there is no factory to hit.
>>
can they bomb the factory?
>>
>>65454604
like the russians, they then build another factory
>>
>>65454604
Just like they bombed all of the other factories?
>>
>>65454604
>Russia bombing anything that is an actual war asset and not senseless terror-bombing
>>
>>65454624
well, sooner or later they'll hit something war-related by sheer coincidence
>>
They have to find the factory
They have to actually hit it
Their hits have to do significant damage
That significant damage has to either be enough to where repair itself takes a significant amount of time or they have to prevent repair
None of these things are trivial
>>
This assumes there is a factory within strike range, and that this factory's location is known, and that there is only one of them.

The Ukes have taken to underground factories for munitions manufacturing. Russia doesn't do bunker busting.
>>
>>65454604
>>65454609
Yeah, I hear it's mostly that they ship them boxes of parts, and then they assemble them. It speeds things up. The downside is that it does make them targets. They're hoping air defense can stop that.
>>
>>65454799
If Russian actually kill random Ukrainian civilians, why not bomb the Putin's summer house as revenge?
>>
>>65454604
How and with what? Are they going use Tu-160 or the few remaining Tu-95's?
>>
>>65454913
There was speculation that Russia's concrete-filled Oreshnik warheads were an attempt at a ghetto bunker buster, or at the very least it was the closest thing they had that could actually get to Kyiv.
>>
>>65454942
Run that by me again either sober or in english please
>>
why is russia unable to stop ukrainian missile production?
>>
>>65454981
They have too few ballistic missiles which are the only thing that can hit them, and they get stopped by the patriot air defense system. Cruise missiles and UAVs get stopped by air defenses.
>>
>>65454604
If they could they would already hit the drone factories, and neptune factories, or any other factories
>>
>>65454604
Russia has not been remotely successful in stopping Ukrainian missile or drone production. Ukraine churns out hundreds of drones a day at low cost.
>>
that kind of critical infrastructure is underground, russia doesn't have anything that can hit it precisely with enough penetration capabilities

This nigger clearly did not see the Ukrainian HQ in the battle of Soledar. Sprawling underground complex carved out of a converted mine that was by some accounts expanded further. And there was the battle of Azovstal, fucking room to room bunker fighting.

Like we have already had at least two super metal battles in underground facilities in this war, plus various smaller ones like the mines near Vuhledar. You really think it'd be that difficult for them to do something similar for their MIC, except not on the front lines?

Russia doesn't need to bomb the factory because no one in their right mind believes that ukrainians will produce any Storm Shadows. Those missiles are handmade, there's a tiny amount of people trained and able to make them, at a microscopic production rate. Basically what this amounts to is an empty political gesture from the new British PM, and all it tells you is that the UK and France had ran through their stock of Storm Shadows/Scalps. If the UK and France had any missiles to spare they wouldn't be giving Ukraine the blueprints that Ukraine can not use. They would have given the actual fucking missiles.

Gee i wonder why a nation not at war and not using its ballistic missiles and with few to no export contracts wouldn't have a factory churning them out

Surely the nation fighting a "superpower" in a defensive war that is already producing its own inferior but similar ballistic missiles, would never be able to make use of full schematics and engineering consulting from the nation that makes the more effective original version

i genuinely don't get this strategy. We have the perfect NATO version of the ho chi minh trail going on here. Like why would you move a single factory into ukraine? Like any other country in any other war would be super jealous to have an untouchable supply route that's also not far away.

I don't believe that there are actual logistical gains to be had here, especially when Ukraine needs men at the front and that's the one thing that's politically toxic to send them.
>>
>>65459479
Stupid boy. We're not moving anything to Ukraine. This is being done -in addition- to the existing supply route because they need more and we can't supply it for various reasons.
>>
>>65459535
I still don't get it. We can build a factory in Ukraine while the russians are bombing Ukraine? No matter how bureaucratic or fragile western supply chains are sometimes, it still has to be easier to setup and run a factory with the supply chain secure and neither the factory nor the powerplant it's connected to being under threat by anything.

You're still going to have trucks going into Ukraine, just instead of product they're loaded with precursor material. Which can also be targeted.

The ukrainian border is like a magic shield that russia can't penetrate without dire consequences. Ideally I'd rotate all Ukrainian soldiers out for R&R in Gdansk and have major C3 run from poland as well. Hold as little assets at risk in Ukraine as possible at a time as possible.
