Many very simple sight combinations are intended to be zeroed at a single distance and the shooter uses their experience with testing the rifle to determine holds on targets that the user estimates are either closer or further than that set distance.

Blued barreled action with synthetic PP+30%GF stock has that nice mix of trad with modern practicality.
