An older big Yacht makes for a perfectly acceptable anti piracy Q ship, logistics command vessel (if retrofitted and especially if it has a helipad) or even a hospital ship. It could be easily be retrofitted with basic PDF and even AA ability, OP's boat could host several Avenger turrets for instance.The primary problem with the idea of 'just take a civilian ship and put weapons on it' is power generation. For their size ships like these have extremely high amounts of electrical power, some even have electric drives. They can be had for relatively low cost and not only have high power generation and lots of available space they are relatively fast even for some military vessels. They also have great coms and decent radar and even modest sonar abilities not to mention they tend to have shallow drafts for a ship that size. Big ones have cranes and docks for ship's boats, there are even a few that have small submarines. As an example Kim Jong Un's 95 foot Princess 95MY (it is small but he likes it, he has several that are MUCH bigger) is worth about $7 million second hand and can do 31 knots. For practical purposes the middle deck is just a big lounge, it is mostly empty space. You could fit 30 hospital beds and a full surgical suite in there and it is pretty small as these things go. OP's ship could easily handle being the flagship of a humanitarian/anti piracy effort with a landing pad on the bow, you fit well over 100-120 hospital beds in there.

Even the bulkheads are probably 4-8" T200 composite. The only part of that boat that could hope to stop a rifle round is the fucking transom or whatever rare hardwood the owner used for his cabin tables.
