Would there be any fundamental changes to the use of armor if you could get a 120mm cannon firing in the low hundreds of rounds per minute in a similar form factor as modern armor? Let's say 300 just to have a number.
Due to the extremely limited ammunition capacity I'm inclined to say no, but surely a very rapid firing direct fire artillery piece has some usage. Even if it's somewhat niche, like firing beehive rounds into minefields as an alternative to miclics, I can't imagine increasing ROF without any notable compromises would have zero use.

It's that just like slightly freakier version of wanting to to fuck a Genie named Jeanie or red-skinned princesses on Mars? Which is itself just a freakier version of carrying of nubile foreign women during a raid.

I get it, the old Aryan steppe blood demands you take the women of those you conquer into the harem. I don't indulge because I'm a cruel bastard who prefers to simply murder billions. I don't agree, but I understand.

i like how the frontal armor at least stopped the machineguns but they still got fucked by top attack missiles

Also the equipment of the enforcers is all over the place, their commandos clearly use some kind of laser rifle but it has a big heat-shielded barrel and an ejection port indicating it might be ballistic in some fashion, however it doesn't have a mag, only something that hints at being a shotgun magazine tube.

They weren't commies until we supported the faggot French who never deserved our help. They would have espoused the ideology of anyone who helped them gain independence, and Ho Chi Min was actively seeking an alliance with the US before we told him to get fucked.

Stopping the spread of communism in Japan literally involved doing nothing and letting it fail on its own. Stopping it in Korea involved baiting them into openly declaring war and inviting condemnation from the broader international community so that we fought a just war. Vietnam was the original sin of American intervenionalism, and we deserved to lose that war. We will keep losing wars like that until you faggot retards understand that American soft power is much, much more powerful than American hard power, and American hard power can only be used if the American people are convinced that the cause is just.

Aside from the retarded amount of recoil involved, it would be way overkill against anything on the modern battlefield and the engineering concessions required to make it work would make it a retarded sitting duck on par with the Ratte.

It could maybe function as an artillery piece, but you're always better off splitting your guns into several platforms. Not to mention the thermal load would melt the barrel five times over

>that American soft power is much, much more powerful than American hard power
Wrong lesson faggot, soft power can't make shitskins not shit because race is real. Ho Chi Min going commie was a was because after the US didn't help them with their Suez Canal fuckups the Frogs were openly saying they'd go independent or outright side with Russia just to stick it to the anglos for the 3rd time in history.

The real fact is that an empire which both crushes oppositional and espouses libtard shit looks hypocritical or duplicitous to outsiders who don't understand its internal politics are dictating. US soft power worked in countries with populations which have a mean IQ over 100 and failed in countries with a mean IQ under 100(Chinks lie theirs is more like 92). The US satrapy system was designed for nations which would become prosperous, nations which cannot become prosperous don't really reap th benefits of satrapy and thus eventually start blaming the US for their failings(see all spic nations).

Hard power would absolutely work if the US was a genocidal racist state, but it isn't(yet) so it doesn't work(yet).
>>
>>65516978
>>They weren't commies until we supported the faggot French who never deserved our help.
No, retard. The Vietnamese communists were always there and were always heavily involved in the Viet Mihn before it became the Vietcong. They were there WHILE THE JAPANESE WERE STILL THERE, slowly gaining power and taking avantage of the nationalists' heavy lifting just like the CCP.

>They would have espoused the ideology of anyone who helped them gain independence, and Ho Chi Min was actively seeking an alliance with the US before we told him to get fucked.
Ho Chi Mihn was "nationalist" in only the most basic bitch sense, he literally studied in Russia and China and was a trained communist, just because he complimented the US constitution once doesn't mean he had any actual idea what any of it meant or that he wanted a fucking liberal republican government in Vietnam. He wanted ethnic and racial justice and state socialism from the start. He probably thought of the American new deal if anything.

>Stopping the spread of communism in Japan literally involved doing nothing and letting it fail on its own.
It didn't. The US invested heavily in supporting liberal movements.
>Stopping it in Korea involved baiting them into openly declaring war and inviting condemnation from the broader international community so that we fought a just war.
And thousands and thousands of lives.
>Vietnam was the original sin of American intervenionalism, and we deserved to lose that war.
Except Vietnam was objectively the last domino. The communist revolution in the Philippines was brutally stomped out with the US's full support. There were no more countries that fell to communism because the US never gave up meeting them with infinite resources against anyone who'd put up a fight, even the shady ones like the Contras and the AUCs.

What happened to that Swat Katz reboot?

>>65491287
>>65496085
She was only introduced in season 2.
I'll always enjoy the fact that Felina was created specially because of executive meddling, because they wanted an action girl that could hold their own with Swat Katz, but she was written so well, it worked. Plus the in universe reasoning that Feral couldn't kick her off the force for her constant insubordination because he was her niece and wanted to keep a healthy relationship with his brother.

I have wanted to see box magazine fed semi/full auto howitzers for ages. Some horrific fusion of an M-116 and G18. Rather than 120s I'd do 75s. I don't care if it's impractical I want to see giant slides dammit.

The affect on armor would depend on implementation. If the thing can reliably hit the same spot you can just hammer through even on tough armor. Most likely though everything after the first shot will be a crapshoot with a 120 firing that fast. The fire rate would be best used in a semi-auto config for fast aimed follow up shots. Having a significantly reduced reload time compared to even the best autoloaders means as soon as the gun is back on target you shoot. Basically you may be able to fire 300 rounds per minute on paper but the practical use is entirely tied to how quickly the gun is back on target after each shot.

For artillery it'd be instant suppression when the shells hit. Again accuracy is going to be an issue after that first shell but you can put enough shells out to saturate. If you're lobbing guided shells you could easily wipe out a push with a single gun. Guided shells would really make it viable and terrifying. Multiple guns would be a shitstorm of shells impacting the area and could easily lock down land within their fire range. What would normally take guns in the double digits could be done by 2-4 of them.

The biggest problem is going to be wear.

started watching that with my son and he really liked it. then he wanted to watch some other batman stuff and it wasn't too bad until we got to the new caped crusader show which is very gay.
he now hates montoya, hates lesbians, hates modern writers, hates girl bosses the works. i think the specter episode sent him over the edge to chudom. whoopsies.

I didn’t know this show existed.
I’m convinced this is just something the simulation came up with.
I would have known about this.

Hahaha Barbara Gordon was Satan in Animated Batman (comics barb is just as bad but she's not even hot so it's worse).
She canonically cucked Robin, seduced batman, got pregnant, got her baby killed, then years later told Terry McGinnis that Batman groomed her and she spends her twilight years pushing gun legislation and fucking black men. I fuckin hate Beyond and there is literally no way to make it canon with JL.

I'd say it was a brutal take on women except I don't think Timm thought these were bad things. I don't know how he can be so incredibly based and wholesome sometimes and then write the ugliest, nastiest celebration of pure evil and not seem to understand why people are revolted. It's not even always a sex thing, sometimes he just has the worst ideas anyone's ever heard in their entire lives, though it's usually a sex thing. Maybe he's one of those writers who flourishes only when he's part of a team. Then again it seems like all the DC animated Alumni turned out nothing but sewage after that era finished, maybe there was something in the water coolers at that office that made them sane.

which is good because the JL canon went to shit and that series is just boring as hell and so is the entire concept of the JL anyway

Remember that "romance" comic of a couple of serial killers who got off on killing and it ends with the guy killing the girl and it's portrayed as a romantic thing? He's not wholesome and has never been, he's just a cynical pervert.

Those are called editors. Comic books used to have competent editors who would bully and whip these creatures known as "authors" into not being sick retards constantly lashing out on their readers with their personal issues like that.

They actually hired the same guy to murder the other by mistake, though the girl did go out first while they were going on about how hot and romantic it was so w/e

JL is the best thing DC ever produced. You can put the surrounding shows in a box with it and then write off basically every other thing DC has ever done as fucking garbage.

>has never been
That being obviously and patently untrue is my point. Something compelled these men, complete failures on every other project they've ever worked on, to produce volumes of content that defy the pattern of their mental weaknesses. I remember all the shows, and there was a huge number of plots and themes that were aggressively righteous and moral not in vague throwaway senses but in great detail, at length. Unless your contention is that 95% of the scripting and direction for ten years and five different shows was all being done by editors who were occasionally overpowered and tied up while Dini and Timm wrote episodes about Superman murdering his Kryptonian wife, which I might find believable except that I know for a fact one of these assholes would have mentioned it by now.
>>
>>65542907
Anon they made Bruce hook up with Barbara in the shows themselves despite how fucked up that dynamic is, and Timm pushed it even in comics. Then you have the entirety of Harley's existence. All the moral content comes from the pre-existing superhero stories and themes, you can tell immediately when they start doing interpersonal relationships.

>I say "it's weird that so much of JL and Batman TAS is so on point when each of the writers will produce random obscene dogshit from time to time"
>You say "no they're never on point and when they are it's just other writers and editors"
>I say "that would mean almost the entirety of their shows were written by other writers"
>You say "Bruce Timm wrote sick shit occasionally"
I KNOW, that was part of my POINT.
I'm sick of you not paying attention to what I'm saying in a normal damn conversation about a show online.
I TALKED about this and you're just pretending I didn't. You're just wasting our time.

The moral content absolutely does not come from the comics, I've read stacks and stacks and stacks of comics from every era in a futile attempt to find any scraps of morality or artistic meaning and almost the entirety is not only dogshit in execution but deeply psychotic in it's morals. The Batman-Superman-Justice League -Teen Titans shows from the 90s and early 2000s stand so far above everything else DC has ever done it's actually shocking that they even exist, and becomes more shocking when you examine the individuals involved and their personal weaknesses. Many flaws *intact* these shows rise above the comics and the movies like monuments built on a fucking mountain overlooking the deepest blackest abyss of shit on the earth.

Why was this show so peak and why can't we have anything modern that's half as good?

but my autism has set in motion the unstoppable process of figuring out how this setting works to the point of obsession so i can make it a tabletop or a videogame concept!

also MKC is a mindfuck of a location with a lot indicating it's meant to be on the eastern board of the continent with the sunrise coming from the sea and somewhat colder, wetter climate but also it has a lot of warm and dry locations like these beaches, a desert somewhat like the Mojave nearby and mountains high up, high enough to host a not-Inca Egyptian civilization. Also there's a tropical volcanic Island "close enough" off the shore it's part of their jurisdiction. Maybe their planet just rotates the other way around, i don't fucking know.

There's a fairly significant amount of rural and suburban areas around it, maybe it's big enough to touch several biomes or just very spread out, the one thing we never actually see is snow or heavy precipitation so it's just a very dry area with lots of water access anyway. Almost mediterranean.
