Today, on the military showcase event (MSPO Kielce 2026) Polish state owned military group presented a new heavy IFV prototype (that will take military tests this year) for the Polish army.
Context:
Poland made and already bought a bunch of domestic made IFVs "Borsuk", but it was made with swimming requirement so Borsuk is objectively lightly protected, army wanted a solid heavy armored IFV that will be able to take on more damage, so Polish manufacturers of Borsuk IFV crated a completely new heavy armored chassis (pic), and slapped the same remote turret on it from Borsuk (30mm Bushmaster + 2 spikes).
Borsuk IFV that can swim weights around 28 tons, the new heavy IFV is said to weigh 40 tons (+12 tons).

What are your thoughts? As a Pole I'm glad we are making a solid IFV, because Borsuk IFV is kinda a meme with how lightly armored it is because some retarded general force a swimming requirement for it like a decade ago.

I'd go with the Predator personally, the only Baneblade variant with a smaller gun like that is the Stormlord and by smaller I mean it has a pair of 5 barreled gatling autocannons that are a bit snubby but would probably be decent at carving a giant cock on the side of a mountain like a paintbrush of 30-40mm sized shells.
>>
>>65492115
Why does it have chink camo?

This thing is still not armored enough, still not armed enough (I would rather see something like the sherman 75 mm on it with high angle capability) and only an evolution of an already obsolescent design.

polska is full of weebs
>>
>>65492115
This would have been really good for a proper conventional war in the 1980s
>>
>>65492115
Slap some ERA on that bitch
>>

*Polish (based on Camo type 93 Pantera).

>something like the sherman 75 mm
what the hell for?
>>
>>65492378
Will most likely have additional amour modules like the Borsuk, and slapping on it some Pangolin ERA would be quite interesting.
>>
>>65492115
What's the name?
Swimming is Borsuk (do badgers even swim?), so the _heavy_ ver. should be, what, Dzik (boar)?

Nice.

Welcome to /k/ new friend.

>Banderablade
>>
>>65492115
Cannon facing wrong way it needs to shoot drones not infantry.
>>
>>65492115
This is the future of tanks. Basically:
1. Tracked
2. Large enough to carry infantry
3. Light to medium armored only
4. Light(er) weight
5. Remote turret
6. 30-50 mm gun at most, for self defence
7. Some sort of multipurpose BVR missille which is the actual main weapon
8. If not carrying infantry, then space for sensors and comms equipment
>>
>>65492115
Does it feature dead zigger storage?

Fuck off pissdrinker

"Have you ever seen someone and wondered, what is going on inside of their head?"
>>
>>65492955
He's one of the resident schizos, newfriend. Also revealed to have drunk piss relatively recently, to my memory.
>>
>>65492825
the 75mm cannon was pretty good for everything except other tanks. It's more of a light field gun on a tank than it is a tank gun.
>>

Not need, the Slavic forests need their fertilizer.
>>
>>65492115
Is it me or does it look like a panzer 3 at a glance?
>>
>>65492955
No but he's a genuine propagandist for them. yup, sickening alright. He's in America.
>>
>>65492115
>heavy ifv
So, just extra fat & juicy drone target?
>army wanted a solid heavy armored IFV
The fuck wrong with poll-ack army?
Didn't they learn the lethality of drones in modern warfare from ukraine war?
>>
>>65492115
Can it defend itself against drones good?
>>
>>65492823
but why in fucking blue
only chinks do that for some reason
>>
>>65493962
Looks more like a TIGER!

Oh boy! A new corruption grift to suck EU gibs to while crying that Poland is treated unfairly.

>>
>>65494401
is this supposed to be an IFV based off of some bastardized tank hull?
>>
>>65494411
idk, the drive wheel appears to be in the front and afaik the only tank that does this is merkava
>>
>>65494401
>>65494411
>>65494531
>>65494531
It seems to be a VN20 from Norinco based on the VT4 with the engine, drive wheel etc. moved to the front
>>
>>65492115
>Israel pioneered the concept of heavy IFVs and heavy APCs
>Russia has a heavy IFV (allegedly)
>Now Poland does too
Unironically, what is the military purpose of these things? Is it just urban fighting where you're dealing with Javelins all day?
>>
>>65494335
>but why in fucking blue
It's not blue but green.
>>
>>65496257
For Israelis, yes. For slavs, it is to have a BTR that doesn't get penned by a full metal jacket 7.62x39mm
>>
>>65496369
Poland actually never used the BTR in the military
they (and Chechs) used SKOT
>>
>>65496257
They can fight where MBTs can. That's their point.
>>
>>65496257
To transport an infantry squad and give it fire support.

Is it made by Hutta Jabbawa Sluto?
