Bronze is well suited to being melted down to use for other shit; wood fires can get hot enough to melt it meaning any everyday joe could destroy a bronze sword to make a cup, while other metals like iron and steel need coal/coke and the expertise to work it; so relatively more of that survives today

Their art often is just depicting a kind of tropes or samelessness because why bother depicting fine detail of facial variation

Worth remembering that the near eastern bronze age spans upwards of 2000 years. Things changed a lot in that time.A millenium into the bronze age, the rank and file of the Akkadian empire still used mostly flint- or sometimes copper-tipped spears. Exclusively flint-tipped arrows (archers being a professional elite). Leather- or copper helmets, bloody wooden clubs. Copper and sometimes bronze daggers. Textile armour or none at all.This was an empire that ran from the Syrian coast to the Persian gulf.It'a not until 1500 years into the bronze age that spokes wheel chariots driven by horses appear. Another couple hundred years - just a few centuries before the end of the bronze age - that metallurgy allows enlarging daggers until you have swords.And Egypt mass-produces bronze exactly never, it was mostly a copper age society throughout basically all of this (it lags similarly in the iron age).Tin being rare (and only really starting to matter in the 2nd millenium; the first 1000, 1500 years of the bronze age were all about arsenic bronze, with all that implies) had a pretty dramatic effect. It was really more of a neolithic+ age than a genuine bronze age.
